What impact will a 2nd QB coach on staff have on the development of Anthony Richardson ?

Ken Zampese, son of Ernie Zampese, who spent 36 years as a coach in the NFL, has joined Dan Mullen's staff https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Zampese

I realize his official title is Analyst and they are not supposed to directly coach any players ..... but as several posters have pointed out, this policy is basically ignored.

Richardson, 6' 4", 230 lbs, 4.5 40 yd dash, like Franks in his early days at UF, needs to work on his passing skills. I have to think that during Richardson's RS year that Ken Zampese could find the time to "unofficilly" give him a few pointers.

Since Saban & his staff have been doing things like that since day 1, see no reason why UF can't join the party !

I really like the hire of Ken Zampese. I don’t know exactly what his role will be at UF but he comes from great bloodlines. I loved that San Diego Charger offense that his dad built.

With Dan and Brian coaching the QB's, Ken will just be an 'in the background' helper, not anything like the up front QB coach. o_O

Now, if Brian chooses to move up/on at some point in the near future, then I could see Ken moving into his place as an 'active' QB coach. Great hire either way imo.

I agree with you. Everybody else bends the rules we should too. Have our analysts spend as much time with players as possible when the coaches can’t.
