Last wedding I went to was last years UF-UT game. Spent almost the entire reception watching the game at a bar by myself. ZFG.
Sounds like me...good thing for me my wife knows that I'm not going anywhere (within reason) unless I can watch the game live or on a short delay. She can go and I'll either be back from somewhere that has the game or I'm not coming.

From my experience the only way to have a long healthy relationship is to stay the hell away from her. So make sure you invest in a basement when ya'll purchase your home. Don't forget to extend your cable tv to your outdoor garage and keep a good mini refrigerator out there as well. Also doesn't hurt to agree with everything she says.

The one thing that I envy, more than anything else, about non-Floridians, is that their water table is usually low enough that they can have basements. I wish I had a basement.
I have two properties in Florida. A good sump pump and a engineer worth his/her salt and a basement is no big deal. ijs
If you are depending on pumps, then you might want to add a reliable power company to the team as well.
