1. Eliminate the December Portal Opening
2. Eliminate Spring Ball
3. 1 Sighning Day in February
4. 1 Portal Opening in May - Open for 3 weeks
5. June - OTAs similar to the NFL can take place
6. August - Open Fall Practice.
I would look at the NFL Model. If you eliminate Spring ball the urgency to transfer before school opens up in January won't be there thus it would seem ok to just have one portal period.
If after the 2nd semester of the school year you want to transfer you can do so in May.
