According to multiple sources, including Tampa Catholic coach Bob Henriquez, it looks like Florida will offer Tampa Catholic fullback Hunter Joyer -- possibly today.
And ...
"He might accept today," Henriquez told Gatorbait.net.
The 6-foot, 245-pounder is camping at UF on Thursday. Joyer, who benches an amazing 495 pounds, has offers from several schools, most notably Stanford and Texas A&M.
"He's a very versatile player," Henriquez said. "He's a powerful, explosive player."
The Gators signed TC's Chaz Green, an offensive lineman, in February. Another of Joyer's former teammates, QB/ATH Christian Green, signed with FSU.
Joyer also is a standout shot put guy, so it's possible he'll do track as well in college.
