Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, Chief. He was told to move along...Hypothetically if Kirby helps this player with a waiver to play at a rival school what signal does that send to the UGA faithful? Especially a player that we’ve come to find out was not kicked off the team.
Question still remains, Simple Jax. What message does it send if he vouches for the player’s hardship in order to allow him to play this season?Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, Chief. He was told to move along...
That Kirby ain’t worried about UF at all...Question still remains, Simple Jax. What message does it send if he vouches for the player’s hardship in order to allow him to play this season?
Awesome. That’s one way to spin it.That Kirby ain’t worried about UF at all...
Knowing Kirby he will probably support it. Kirby is always recruiting and will want the kid to leave feeling good even if he kicked him off the team.Question still remains, Simple Jax. What message does it send if he vouches for the player’s hardship in order to allow him to play this season?
You have the right to not care if your players are beating women and not getting dismissed.
Knowing Kirby he will probably support it. Kirby is always recruiting and will want the kid to leave feeling good even if he kicked him off the team.
You don't have to be tried and convicted to be dismissed from playing foorball. If this is the first time you are hearing this then you were paying way more to Urban Meyer/Zach Smith/Dan Mullen than what is happening in the real world.
Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, Chief. He was told to move along...
There’s nothing to explain. Kirby told him to hit the road and isn’t bad mouthing him in the process. Clean break, everyone is happy. Dude had a bad attitude because others were showing him up.So am I reading that right? Telling him to transfer is the same as throwing him off the team?
Please explain this concept to your fellow fleas, some of whom don't seem to grasp it in regards to Mullen and some of our transgressors who transferred out.
I’m not aware of any broken promises. Those are just excuses that our competition makes - like the bag man comments - when they lose out on recruits. I see a coach that is constantly recruiting and always selling UGA. If you’re not working hard, you’re likely going to get recruited over. This kid has been a cancer since last year. It was time to move on.Awesome. That’s one way to spin it.
Personally if this was FSU I’d be concerned about the rumors of broken promises by the coach to big named players putting the coach in position to support other potential teams we may and/or will face. Imagine if UGA has another dream year and has to play Fields at Ohio St in the playoffs this year. I mean yalls expectations are national title and certainly Ohio St is in the mix to make the playoffs. You’re definitely playing UF this year. This kid knows your defensive playbook. At the very least you have to change calls and schemes the week of the UF game. Probably doing some of that right now in preparation for having to do that later in the season.
It is absolutely zero benefit to helping these programs out. I guess everyone will have to wait and see Kirby’s involvement with this kid.
Yep. A common theme is beginning to develop here. There is a reason Cox is trying to get a waiver. Lots of lies being spread about Cox and what really has transpired while at UGA.Cox and Fields. Terrible attitudes and team cancers. Common narrative from UGA fans when a top recruit leaves and there are rumors of broken promises.
When top recruits get passed over on the depth chart some will stay and fight to get better. Some will leave for less competition (Fields) and some will become malcontents (Cox) and get dismissed. Not sure why this is so hard for you to grasp!Cox and Fields. Terrible attitudes and team cancers. Common narrative from UGA fans when a top recruit leaves and there are rumors of broken promises.
And Kirby doesn’t need to bad mouth the kid. The UGA QRF is quick to the IO Campaign about the kid’s work ethic and shitty disposition. Same as they did with Fields.Yep. You are the one that brought up charges and court of law. You seem to think someone shouldn't be dismissed from the team until they have had their day in court. I guess you disagree with Mullen.And...this ties to the Constitution exactly how?
Funny, it's not in the Constitution, per se (although it is derived from the 6th Amendment), but our legal system is based on the precept of Innocent Until Proven Guilty. So reread your post and try again.
It’s not hard for me to grasp. But as the outsider in all of this both players have been completely disrespected by your fanbase as if they were pieces of garbage. Fields was suddenly a team cancer when the rumors of him wanting to move on started before the Sugar Bowl and SEC title game. When top recruits get passed over on the depth chart some will stay and fight to get better. My guess is that most coaches have a plan for this type of scenario, as it’s likely not the first or last time it will happen. And again, I don’t think Kirby is overly concerned about Dan and UF.
It’s not hyperbole. Your fanbase has been ruthless about both these players. God forbid Fields wanted to go get some playing time somewhere after realizing he wasn’t going to unseat Fromm. No it was immediate he’s dividing the locker room and a cancer. It all started before the SEC title game and the way he was used in that title game was so piss poor and random it looked like Kirby and company were desperate to get him PT to keep him. If that wasn’t it then it was just terrible game planning.Wow, garbage...king of hyperbole
Read any Geoegia board and you will see that rumors around both of these guys having poor attitudes were around way before they decided to transfer. It’s not hyperbole. The SEC definitely has the best drama amongst its teams by the way.
He wasn't suddenly a team cancer. Go back and look at his body language after we beat South Carolina. People were congratulating him and he said very snarky "All I did was hand the ball off" instead of being happy they won. It’s not hard for me to grasp. This is exactly what it means. Ha ha!That Kirby ain’t worried about UF at all...
Yes, because georgia boards are full of truth tellers...Read any Geoegia board and you will see that rumors around both of these guys having poor attitudes were around way before they decided to transfer.
Why would we single those two guys out if it wasn't happening? Our fanbase was excited about these two guys. Go Youtube Brenton Cox and DeAndre Walker and you will see Walker chewing out Cox during a game.Yes, because georgia boards are full of truth tellers...
1. Not sure why we are doing this hypothetical.Awesome. That’s one way to spin it.

No one has said that about Fields. He thought he should start, wasn’t better than Fromm. So he left. And he may still not start. Word is he’s not exactly separating himself from the UK guy whose name almost no one can remember.Cox and Fields. Terrible attitudes and team cancers. Common narrative from UGA fans when a top recruit leaves and there are rumors of broken promises.
When I was with the FHP I gave a subordinate the opportunity to resign or be fired. In a sense, this scenario could be similar to UGA and Cox. No different then Mullen and Jones. Jones was encouraged to take his game elsewhere. So am I reading that right? Telling him to transfer is the same as throwing him off the team?

Doesn't it feel good to finally admit it? You're welcome for the therapy session. No charge. Ha ha.Thanks. I don’t.

You obviously don't care. Hope you never have daughters around the Gator team.Let me clarify. I don’t care if women like you get their brains beat in, no.
I see you’re still on this board passively aggressively bashing your ex (Cox) who wants nothing to do with you. Holding on isn’t healthy. Now you’re welcome for the therapy session.
You should really go back and do some points research on the recent recruiting classes. It may help you to mentally prepare for what you're about to experience in JAX.Keep hoping and wishing.
If I were you, I'd be working on my excuses for why you didn't meet expectations. You know, beat the rush.

Bonus... looks like we're about to get Evans too.
