Azubuike a 6-foot-11 senior rated the No. 27 player in the country by Rivals.com took an official visit to Kansas last weekend and is scheduled to visit NC State October 2.
Long considered a Florida State lean, Coxsome said that Florida has remained in pursuit of him Azubuike. Mike White made a home visit with Udoka on Tuesday.
"We set up the visit late yesterday," Coxsome said. Coach White has stayed in close contact." Coxsome added that Azubuike knows Florida center John Egbunu and expects the two Nigerian natives to spend time together whenever the Florida basketball coaches are not meeting with Azubuike and Coxsome's family.
The five-star Azubuike, who averaged 13.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and two blocks per game in the Nike EYBL, is also considering Auburn, California, Kentucky and North Carolina.
The plan is for Azubuike to take his visits and make his school choice in time to sign during the early period in November.
