This healthcare idea is so lame. If everyone received free HC 2/3rd's of the for profit facilities would close down. Only NFP facilities may remain but would be severely limited in the services they could provide. You would receive basic emergency care and that is it. In other words: if you were involved in an automobile accident and had your face disfigured, they would only patch you enough for you to survive (disfigured face and all). They may spring for the oral surgeon if your jaw was crushed, but that is not a guarantee.
Canada has a single pay Medicare style rationed health care system. Ever sit at U. S. Customs in Blaine, Washington where chartered Canadian buses pass going south hauling Canadians paying for U. S. health care? I have on a number of occasions.
