2017 QB Commit Jake Allen Having Some Fun on Water Jets..

Pretty cool. And we're all probably hoping that Jake can bring Trevon with him when he arrives next year.
============

From Recruiting Classes to Florida's Pro Day -- For the 8th time in 9 years, Florida will have at least one 1st-Rnd pick in the NFL draft.
For the 2nd consecutive Pro Day, all 32 NFL teams had representatives in Gainesville to watch Florida’s draft prospects, and it was also aired live on the SEC Network. (was tOSU's)

The 15 former Gator players who worked out Tuesday led the Gators last season to 10 wins and their first SECe Title since 2009. Nine of the 15 players are projected to be draft picks, with as many as 3 potentially going in the first round. Several others are likely to get F/A shots at making an NFL team.

CB/Nickle/S senior Brian Poole 5-10 209 ran a Pro Day timed 4.49/40  and was excellent in the DB drills.
Surprising many scouts, he now joins CB V.Hargreaves and DE/DT J.Bullard as possible 1st Rnd picks. :)

This year's Pro Day was held in UF new IPF. “Having this facility is great,” McElwain said. “The comments we've gotten on this have been outstanding and it’s been great for the guys. The response from the NFL scouts has been outstanding in kind of how our guys handle themselves,” McElwain said. “Not only in the workouts, but all the interviews. So it’s great to see. What a fun day for the Gators.”

Here's to hoping that all of the 2017 recruits are paying attention.... ;)

Yep, lot's of water in S.FL, and that's why they want to build a huge pipeline from up here to down there to supply them with some decent (non-desalinated) drinking water. o_O

The Gainesville area is surrounded with clean white sand bottom lakes for swimming and sking, beautiful pure water springs for swimming, diving, and tubing, and it's still only a 1-2 hour easy driving distance trip to either the Gulf or the Atlantic. Disney World or the Tampa Bay area is also only a 2 hour drive or an hour's drive to Jacksonville. It can take that long just to drive across Dade county, due to the nasty traffic congestion. :p

But the Gator players don't have to drive anywhere to be in the SWAMP or the Gators new IPF, or to enjoy all of the many other Top 10 in the Nations Gator Sports.

PS

Billboard seen on I-95 going north out of Mi-Am-I reads:
"Will the last American leaving south Florida, please bring the flag with you."

But hey, if you wanna be a scUM thug, then South Beach is the perfect place for ya.... :D

Tell that to any player in South Florida you're recruiting and see how they like being called scum, but hey whatever floats your boat or inner tube.

GO Canes!

What's wrong with this conversation?

Me: 2017 QC Committ Jake Allen Having Some Fun on Water Jets

Marv: That looks like a blast...only in South Florida.

Me: You sure about that?

Marv: Not just the jet pack for the feet, the amount of things you can do near or on the waters.

He might not make it to Gainesville, too much real life for that kid Grier style.

Nice try at diversion, but South Florida recruits in general are not scUM thugs, unless they choose to be. o_O

Quality recruits, like Thorpe Award winner SS Lawrence Wright, chose to get outta Liberty City and make something of themselves. That door to UF remains open for any who chose to follow in his footsteps.

Here are current Gator roster players that have chosen to do just that:

QB/WR Treon Harris - Miami / Booker T. Washington

RB/WR Brandon Powell - Deerfield Beach / Deerfield Beach

CB Quincy Wilson - Fort Lauderdale / Univ School

WR Josh Hammond - Hallandale / Hallandale

TE/QB Brian Fallace - Satellite Beach / Palm Bay

TE/QB Anderson Proctor - Vero Beach / St. Edwards

WR C.J. Worton - Homestead / South Dade

CB/RB McArthur Burnett - Pahokee / Pahokee

CB Chauncey Gardner - Cocoa / Cocoa

RB Jordan Scarlett - Fort Lauderdale / STA

RB Jordan Cronkrite - Miami / Westminster Christian

DB Eddie Giles - Jupiter / Dwyer

DB Michael Iorio - Nokomis / Venice

WR Glenn Jarriel - Okeechobee / Glades Day

DB Mark Norvelis - Palm Bay / Palm Bay

LB Rayshad Jackson - Miami / Miami Norland

DT Khairi Clark - Hollywood / Chaminade-Madonna

LB Cristian Garcia - Miami / Belen Jesuit Prep

LB Jahim Lawrence - Hollywood / Miami Norland

OG Richerd Desir-Jones - Ft. Lauderdale / STA

DL Forrest Palmore - Punta Gorda / Charlotte

OT Fred Johnson - W. Palm Bch / Royal Palm Beach

OL Marcel Benalcazar - Miramar / Archbishop McCarthy

WR Antonio Callaway - Miami / Booker T. Washington

DE Bryan Cox - Ft. Lauderdale / STA

DE Keivonnis Davis - Miami / Miami Central

DE Luke Ancrum - Sebring / Sebring

K - Jorge Powell - Coral Gables / Belen Jesuit Prep

Where you are 'from' is not nearly as important, as 'where and who you choose to be...'
