Pardon if this has already been brought here.
According to one writer anyways.http://campusinsiders.com/news/preseason-coaches-poll-prediction-08-01-2016
1. Alabama – The Crimson Tide, while losing key players to the NFL Draft and graduation, just bring in another group of talented individuals to fill the void. If you want to be the champ, you have to beat the champ.
2. Clemson – They return a lot of talent from last season’s national title runner-up team, including quarterback preseason ACC Player of the Year Deshaun Watson. Will the opener at Auburn be a jump-off or a stumbling block?
3. Oklahoma – Another year, another high preseason ranking for Bob Stoops and the Sooners. Quarterback Baker Mayfield will provide nightmares for a lot of defenses this season.
4. Ohio State – Urban Meyer says this could be his most talented team as the Buckeyes’ head coach. If that is true, look out.
5. LSU – Efficient quarterback play. That could be all that is needed for the Bayou Bengals to reach the top again.
6. Michigan – Sure, his antics off the field get the most press, but Jim Harbaugh has built the Wolverines into a contender in little more than a year.
7. FSU – Settling on a quarterback will be key, but handing the ball off to running back Dalvin Cook is a luxury for the Seminoles.
8. Tennessee – Expectations haven’t been this high in Knoxville since Peyton Manning was on campus. Can Butch Jones and the Volunteers overcome late-game collapses?
9. USC – Opening the season against Alabama will be no easy task. Newly hired head coach Clay Helton must have his boys prepared right from the start.
10. Florida – If the Gators find a productive offense, they can challenge for the SEC title.
11. Notre Dame – A tough schedule – at Texas and USC, with Michigan State, Stanford, Miami and Virginia Tech all traveling to South Bend – will make it difficult for the Irish to reach the playoff.
12. Stanford – Christian McCaffrey can do everything on the field. Just ask Iowa.
13. Georgia – New head coach, new quarterback, same high expectations in Athens. Is freshman phenom Jacob Eason the Bulldogs’ savior?
14. Washington – Besides Tennessee, the most-hyped team to bust up the polls coming into the season is Washington.
15. Ole Miss – It's been a rough offseason for the program with NCAA violations and investigations, but the talent, including quarterback Chad Kelly, is still there in Oxford.
16. Houston – Tom Herman’s Cougars open with Oklahoma. Could this be a preview of future Big 12 matchups? Houston is the favorite to bust the playoff party from outside the Power Five conference.
17. Arkansas – There’s no surprise as to what the Razorbacks will do to you: beat you up and wear you down. They are a dark horse to compete in the SEC West.
18. Michigan State – Consistency is the word in East Lansing. The Spartans will have to find a replacement for quarterback Connor Cook.
19. North Carolina – The Tar Heels were close to winning the ACC championship last season. New quarterback Mitch Trubisky has all the skills to become a star.
20. Oklahoma State – The Cowboys return 17 combined starters. Bedlam in Norman could be for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
21. Oregon – Fast, faster, and even faster. That is the way the Ducks like to run their offense. Can they rebound after a disappointing 2015? With Royce Freeman in the backfield, anything is possible.
22. Baylor – The Bears finally get to play football. Focusing on the season will be tough with all that is happening in Waco. They will either thrive or fall apart.
23. Boise State – Sure, the Broncos are talented, but their schedule is an absolute joke.
24. Louisville – The Cardinals are considered the outside team in the ACC behind Clemson and Florida State. Don’t be surprised if they sneak up on those two.
25. UCLA – Bruins’ quarterback Josh Rosen is now in a pro-style offense that will feature his arm. UCLA goes as he goes.
Next Five: BYU, Texas A&M, Iowa, Miami, Wisconsin
