Since Urban’s first game against UT in 2005, we are 16-1 against the Vols.

No matter how you slice it that is OWNERSHIP. Complete and total OWNERSHIP of the UT football program.

Do we all get a plot of land in TN now? Does the UT football program pay us any rent or taxes? We own them. Can we use their facilities just for the heck of it? We own them.

Heupel actually did some smart things last night. Nothing against him, but he is tied to Douchebag White so if Heupel fails White goes with him.

I don't think they will ever come back to become a champion contender, even moreso with Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC.

They are now the perpetual "South Carolina part 2" with a history that is more like a fleeting dream.

Sure, they can pose a challenge....maybe even win a game in which they are big underdogs. However, 9 win seasons are their ceiling. Like Usc, they will consider an accomplishment if they come 2nd in the East.

Miami is looking on them and thinking "Well, it could be worse....at least we got location".

It’s the most impressive “conquering” of a rival sadgator has ever witnessed in his entire sports watching career….

Wonder what UT fans thought right before that first Urban game in 2005. That night and 2006 in Knoxville were close. After that it was nothing but ass-kickings by UF for about 8 years. ‘14 and ‘15 were close. ‘16 we were up like 30-16 before collapsing. ‘17 was heave to Cleve, then 4 more ass-kickings to follow that.

You know each one of our wins over UT eats up Fulmer and brings a huge smile to Spurrier’a face. Pure ownership.

Actually 2016 Florida was up 21-0 before utk came back

During the current 16-1 streak utk arguably should have won 1 more game. Not could have won which can be said about tons of games but should. 2015. I think in 2014 they led by 9 late, 2006 they led by maybe 6 late? The Hail Mary game saw Gators give up a nice lead late.
Even if utk won all those games, it is a 13-4 run, and our kids get the credit for actually making plays in close games

16-1
24-5 since 1993, and their biggest win, in 1998 took a missed chip shot FG and goal line fumble by the Gators

Don’t see them massively improving but do see them having more competitive teams that just by normal odds are able to win a few games.

You know, when reflecting upon all those years and the games noted above, ...oddly enough the forefront thought I have about the UT program is not about their struggles of blowouts and close loses over prolonged years, persay.

It's the photo that was in some sort of media publication during the Kiffin days. The players were posing shirtless with heavy chains. It was all supposed to be about swagger with a lot of preening while thinking their gimmicks were a sign of the changing winds.

Only for Kiffin to flee into the night only a short time later.

What is awesome, they came close to having our coach in their sidelines. We were busy chasing Cow Chip and Frost warning. Luckily our administration came through. Scott didnt want to hurt his folks at MsU but Mullen was leaving regardless. I'm glad we pulled the trigger.

Yes UT's ceiling is 9 maybe an occasional 10 win season but Mullen would have had them competitive like he did MSU. Our ceiling is higher with Mullen on our sidelines.

When Frost said I think I would just bring all my assistants with me from UCF that is when UF said “no thanks”. Scott this is the SEC not the AAC.

I believe UT is on the rise. Their play calling was pretty good last night, missed some open receivers, and the 4th down drop was a killer for them. They will be better and will win some games in conference this year.

I wouldn't mind having Frost on the UF staff the moment Nebraska gets rid of him.

I would bet he will get a head coaching job again in a non P5 conference. If I was like a USF for example I’d go after him

That's true but I believe he will go the same route that Lame, the Drunk Steve Sarkisian and Bill O'Brien went after getting canned as a head coach before landing another gig as HC.

Certainly very possible as well

Everything that happened during the Butters era could have been avoided if Fooley swallowed his pride and hired Dan Mullen back in 2014. Of course, side hat wearing Geoff Collins still would have been the DC, Will Grier wouldn't have been suspended all because Butters didn't GAS about strength and conditioning.

The Butters era went 0-3 vs FSU. No way Mullen loses to FSU from 2015-2017 and avoid a first ever 5 game losing streak

I also believe they found a competent coach finally. And frankly, not too happy about it.

ESPN reports:

POLL IMPLICATIONS

Florida should crack the Associated Press Top 25 poll, especially with No. 9 Clemson and seventh-ranked Texas A&M losing.

HUH? We should crack the Top 25?

I know they mean Top 10....but the article is WRONG.
