Lost their court case. They then chose to lose their jobs instead of getting the free vaccine as is their right.

Good for them. It’s a free country still.

They are free to find another job, and the hospital is free to try to replace them.

I wish the hospital luck. Fairly certain there were some good employees in that bunch.

Agreed on all accounts. I do think it was a bad move for the hospital to make it mandatory though, there is quite a shortage of qualified nursing and medical ancillary staff right now. Then again, at many hospitals, the vaccination rate of employees is typically only 40 to 50%.

Dude we're freaking desperate for employees. Everyday we have lines shut down because we can't find people and we have been oversold for 3 years....we built a brand new $200MM facility and today 1/3rd of it isn't operating due to staffing. I've never seen anything like this. Whether it's stimmy's or just laziness, whatever is going on is a massive threat to our economy.

Are you seeing variant D yet? Fauci is beating the drum again.

It’s an epidemic in this country. People are simply refusing to work. It’s beyond bizarre.

Not in the hospital, not sick enough to need to be in the ICU at least.

Yeah, saw on the local news last night that hospitals down here in SWFla are offering incentives like relocation expenses paid as well as bonuses up to $20,000 at one hospital.
They are desperately trying to get back the nurses that have left and also trying to stimulate interest from other nurses looking to relocate.
