We have nothing to brag about with 3 losses, UGA fans have everything to brag about with 3 losses and the best of everything. UGA logic ladies and gentlemen. Might as well just give them the title and be done with it.
Btw we’ve played in the same number of conference championship games as you the last 5 years. Also lead the series the last 5 years. It’s tied 2-2 the last 4. But I’m sure you’ll tell me that isn’t recent enough.

Florida fans can brag about anything they want. You're sorta doing it right now over UF's five year record vs UGA. Have at it. Dawg fans are bragging because we own our rival at the moment (we're hardly the only fanbase to brag about beating a rival) and despite the disappointments against Bama, things are looking good for UGA.
Of course things look great for UGA. You guys are in a perfect position to finish second in the SEC again and maybe beat your biggest rival. That’s the pinnacle for UGA. Beat UF and almost win a title. It’s a dream season for a regional program.
Have UGA fans considered you’re breaking in two new coordinators? The defensive guy I can understand not being concerned about but the offensive guy. You think last year’s 72nd rated passing attack with no returning WR’s is going to get an upgrade under James Coley? Is Fromm really going to improve that number? Is he capable of winning the game if UGA is forced to throw the ball 25 times a game?

Try to follow the discussion. You guys were complaining about how bringing up 1980 or the past wasn’t relevant. By that logic why bring up last year? It’s the past. 5 years is more than recent since ya know, that’s the scope of 1 full recruiting class.

Their losses don’t matter, they have super duper recruits coming off the bench they’ve never seen play a snap.
And you’re right I pointed that out before but they’re losing both coordinators, I couldn’t find a team dating back to 08’ that did that and won a title. I’m probably off though and am still looking back further. And not only did they lose both coordinators, they replaced them with a complete unknown in the case of their defensive coordinator, and someone who just straight up isn’t good in Coley. He’s had one job calling plays and got fired. The meltdown will be hilarious.
Would you expect a team that threw the ball 39% of the time last year to be ranked tops in the nation? We’ll continue running the ball with our enormous o line until opponents fold in the second half...kind of like uf last year in the 4th quarter. It’s what we do.
When you have the right infrastructure, it’s easier to plug and play. Do you know what I mean by infrastructure? Think the opposite of what Mullen is recruiting on the lines.

Imagine you, a guy who has never seen your team win anything, talking down to me a guy who has seen his team win 3 titles and damn near 10 conference titles.
Urban Meyer’s 2010 class was at the time (and still might be) the highest rated recruiting class of all time. Know what they won? Nothing. Not even a division title. Matter of fact Urban’s two highest rated classes didn’t win anything. I remember when Mullen leaving wasn’t a big deal because we still had Urban, then our offense tanked. Or when Strong leaving wasn’t a big deal we still got Meyer, then defense dipped. Or how losing Tebow wasn’t a big deal because we’re replacing him with 5-star John Brantley who was one of the best HS QB’s of all-time. Or how about 5-star Jeff Driskel. Or when Harvin leaving wasn’t a big deal because we have 5–star Chris Rainey and 5-star Andre Dubose. None of those players could replace their predecessors.

How’d that running game attrition strategy work against LSU and Texas? Is UGA the only team capable of improving in 2019? If you’re an imbalanced offense and have not been able to rely on Fromm to lead UGA to wins on his arm are you confident he can do so without any experience at WR?
It’s fake bravado. All he ever does is compare UGA to UF, a team that is years behind them according to all the geniuses here. For some reason they keep telling us they’re gonna win championships but won’t compare their program to Bama or Clemson or Ohio State...you know the programs actually winning titles.

Fair enough. Florida has a winning record over UGA over the past 5 years. There you go. We can go back as far as you like. There is no changing history. UF has dominated UGA. Nobody here can deny that UGA has loaded its roster with talent. Given your own fans’ stated impressions of how great your team is, you absolutely should expect nothing less than winning a National Title this year. If you don’t, it’ll clearly be a major disappointment.
But two things:
1. Given all of the above, it is weird that you are all here looking for our validation; and
2. Try to keep in mind that they don’t award titles (or wins) by examining depth charts on the 50 before the games.
Wanna see the perfect illustration between the two programs? Look no further than our 09’ team. Returned something like 17 of 22 starters from the 08’ title team and everybody expected them to win a title. They went 13-1, dominated all our rivals, and won a BCS game. Statistically they’re one of the best teams UF has ever had and how do fans look at that team? As a failure because they lost to Bama in the SEC Championship game and didn’t win a title.
UGA hasn’t even had a team as good as that one yet you’d never know it reading this board. While some of our best teams ever are looked at as failures for not winning titles they want the world to bow before them for finishing second place.
No one has said the last two games don’t matter, but they also aren’t the be all end all in trying to project how the series is going to go. The coach from 2017 isn’t here anymore. And last year was Mullen’s first taking over a poor roster. We keep having to remind y’all of this but your coach had a shitty first year with a much better roster than what we had last year, first years are notoriously rough for any coach. Let’s face it, you all want to make way more out of the last two years than you would otherwise because you want to believe so badly you won’t be losing to UF any time soon.
Just a reminder Richt won 3 straight up until 2014 and also went to two straight SEC Titles. Then UF rolled off 3 straight. We’re not seeing anything we haven’t seen before. The series has been back and forth this entire decade with mini runs.

Honestly FSU had beaten us much more frequently than you have. That is for sure and they don’t act like as big of homer jackasses as UGA fans do and that is even after FSU had won a title under Jimbo.
