Why Aren't Recruits Fans of Programs?

Had this discussion with a buddy of mine recently and wondered.. Every friend I had growing up as a young kid until now has been a pretty big fan of either UF, FSU, Auburn etc. None of us played football at even a peewee level. But we watched our team every single Saturday from the time we can remember until now. If I would have been a football player, especially a top 250 type kid that can go just about wherever I wanted, I would have accepted a UF offer on the spot and never spoken to another program.

You're telling me there aren't 25 kids every single year in this state that grew up passionate UF fans that are good enough to play at this level? There's gotta be 150+ kids in the state every year that end up on power 5 rosters.

Pelosi to run again. Man O Man

Is this all about the party or all about her? (Rhetorical)

She's not gonna be Speaker after the mid terms. The dems will lose the House badly and maybe the Senate. Biden will continue toward lame duck status as he's got the lame part down pat.
Pelosi must have some crappy life outside of politics

I Turn 70 on 1/27!!

Listening to some classic 60's CD's tonight, driving to Cedar Key with my wife of 46+ years tomorrow to have some local seafood and browse the shops, then coming back to Ocala for some Osso Buco at Mesa de Notte. I walk 4 miles almost every day, feel great and have a blessed life. Any suggestions from those older than me? For those younger, I offer this - retire when you can, find things you love and do them often with those whom you love. And Gooooo Gators!!!!
