Athletic Re-ranks 2018 Recruiting Classes

Of note in the article is that UL is now ranked #10 and Napier's transition class was ranked #105 at the time. A couple excerpts:

The Ragin’ Cajuns signed 22 players for 2018, and 16 have started games, including eight who earned All-Sun Belt recognition.

This is not one of those classes that was loaded up with junior college and transfer pickups in the hopes of getting good quickly. It’s mostly high school players plucked out of the Cajuns’ recruiting region who put in the hard work to reach their potential and guide the program to back-to-back Sun Belt titles. Those results should impress Florida fans and inspire some optimism that, given time, Napier’s track record of evaluation and development will translate in the SEC.

UF remained at #14 in the re-ranking.

Tailgating internet service around the Swamp

Just curious if anyone has found a way to get good internet service while tailgating before games. I tried running a Roku off a wifi hotspot on my phone to watch the ESPN app, which worked fine for one early game last year when there were light crowds, but for better opponents and later games when there are more people on campus I couldn't even get text messages on my phone.

Anyone had any luck with any of the satellite internet providers, particularly one that you can use month-to-month? Any way to use the UF campus wifi? I didn't want to deal with getting a Directv/Dish satellite dish.

QB to watch Jalen Kitna

With five QBs on the Florida spring roster the staff, particularly Billy Napier, has plenty of evaluative work to do. One young guy worth watching is Jalen Kitna. The 6-4, 210 lbs. redshirt freshman fits the profile of a strong-armed pro style QB. Jalen chose Florida to be coached by Brian Robinson and Dan Mullen. However, as a coach and ex-NFL veteran QB’s son Jalen may own some advantages in picking up Billy Napier’s offense quickly as well as learning to read defenses. Jalen’s been likened to Kyle Trask, though with far more mobility. Keep in mind, too, that Kitna graduated from high school a year ahead of his class so is still on his way up in his physical development with a little more room to grow his game.

Your thoughts about Kitna and the others in the QB competition is invited.

Maybe some genius that runs a fryer, and who doesn’t understand a lick about immigration in this country…..a guy who has been busted multiple times lying, can tell everyone how good this is for everybody.
