Football Georgia is built different

Imagine celebrating like this after beating a 4-3 gators team with their 3rd string qb.

May not be this year, may not be next year, but one day the rolls will be reversed and I hope the coach makes the "Gator Stomp" and Urbana timeout look like child's play.

Analytics and Deep Passing

ABC showed a stat that DJ had the 2nd most completions over 30 yards in the entire country despite being a part time player. They also said that UGA was tied for last in the SEC at allowing passes over 30 yards. Any reason why we only attempted one deep pass while DJ was in? I was calling for us to go deep at least once per drive and was screaming like a crazy person when we scored on the long TD to Mizell.

Warner

Kudos to Warner coming in and having to play through that. Although I’m no expert, it seemed like the route trees that the receivers were running were slow developing rather than giving him some easy slats and hitches. Thoughts from the experts?

Very proud of the players, doesn’t mean a change doesn’t need to be made

Man, the players are fighting their a** off. So freaking proud of them. But man, a change still has to be made. You’re now staring down 5-7 to finish the year (if Lag is out) and a recruiting class in the 50s.

Billy has built a good culture, he’s an awesome dude, he’s got good players in the building, they’re fighting their a** off for him but wins are all that matter. Very similar to Zook, who btw had a significantly better record. But it’s time for someone to capitalize off of it. Georgia fired Richt after 9-3 and it paid off. No reason 6-7, 5-7 and 5-7 deserves another year.

Football Major props to Billy and the staff

You all know how I feel about him and I still want him gone BUT credit where credit is due. This team could’ve easily folded by now but they have played their asses off this game and by what I’ve seen in the first half we could’ve won if Lags doesn’t get hurt. Really unfortunate what’s happened to these kids this year with injuries.

Football YOOOO.....

Lagway's lips as he walked on the field post-game....with a smile on his face: told them bitches, "Y'all are BLESSED!" He knew that he was going to tear a hole in that defense going forward. I love every bit of the fight in this kid, and told everyone since the spring that he was legitimately THAT GUY. Prayers for a timely healing. Can only imagine what this victory would have done for the team (exposure) and his award candidacy heading into next season.

Aaron Gates.....stated a couple weeks ago that this kid has been playing possessed. He channeled his inner "Ahmad Black" the way that he was making plays all over the field in the 1st half.

Jaden Baugh, Myles Graham, DiDi.....having guys like this is why recruiting is so important.

Another S&C who loves Olympic lifts and another season with an absurd amount of injuries!!!

Idk, if everyone here remembers Jeff Dillman who Muschump hired. He was all about Olympic lifting and under him we literally racked up so many injuries that even the fans were willing to give Muschump a pass for a 4 win season.

When Mullen came in their S&C coach said doing so much Olympic lifting was stupid because it leads to a high rate of injuries. I hardly remember anyone getting hurt when Mullen was our coach.

Our new S&C coach loves Olympic lifting. I did not hide the fact that I was not a fan and many on here disagreed with me. I am not here to gloat because I understand wanting to see things through orange and blue sunglasses.

However, I hope our next coach is wise enough to have a S&C program that actually helps build up our players lower body power/strength without constantly putting their joints and tendons under such ridiculous stress. Not exactly the wisest thing to do when they have to play a football game every week.

Prayers out to all of our injured players and their families!!!
