Voting this year was different than any other time I've voted procedure wise. It took me a second to figure it out. I liked it though. You voted on the screen electronically and then got to review your choices for mistakes. Then you hit send and the machine prints your paper ballot with your choices clearly printed on it. No chance for mistakes, that's good. Then you place your printed ballot into the tabulating machine. I didn't know they changed this but I thought it was a good process.Voted yesterday after work, in person.
They had a long blank paper they gave me, I had to put it into the voting machine and then voting was by touch.
When I was done I had to hit the print tab, the ballot was printed out and then I had to take it to the other machine and put it in that one.
All in all about 40 total minutes from when I turned off my truck to when I turned on my truck.
Sadly I had requested a mail in ballot and got it the other day but decided I didn't want my signature to appear on the outside of the return envelope so I ditched it for the in person vote.
I say sadly because the place I went to yesterday to vote accepts mail in ballots as a drop off point.
Oh well, it's done - voted and not looking back.
Holy crap. That's good to hear. I'm nowhere near that old. 😂Nah, Scott Glen is 85.
