Grantham has to take some responsibility for that defensive recruiting. It falls on him also they have to go searching the portal just to have enough DTs.

I am scared the people in charge might not care about football enough like they should and we drift to a place like Miami finds themselves in now. Also I doubt too many big time DC jobs will be offered to Grantham now that he is being fired. Grantham probably ends up a DC at a lesser power 5 school or he takes a position coach spot in the NFL or at a bigger power 5 college.
