Having said that, I do like to hopefully see that when they do get that payday, that they make good decisions with their money.
I wrote all that because today Keanu Neal, first round draft choice of the Atlanta Falcons, had multiple photos on Facebook showing off his baby - his whip - his car.
I have seen some undrafted free agent types go out and buy top end cars. On the other hand Neal bought a Dodge Challenger and his big expenditure was having the inside of it redone.
That is probably a 30-35K vehicle.
Though it is yours to do as you please, be smart. Don't go blow this money and be one of the statistics who doesn't have anything to show for their time in the NFL.
He gets that. Hopefully he plays well enough to earn a few different NFL contracts and sets himself up for life.
