I know you don’t want to acknowledge a health crisis...and I know that you think that every democratic person wants to turn this situation into a bash President Trump event...

But I really believe that this health crisis is real, and I am really rooting for the President and the Republicans (and Democrats) in Congress to figure it out and help our Nation move beyond this.

It doesn’t mean I will vote for the guy in November and it doesn’t mean that I agree with his other actions or policies, but I want you to know that I am praying for us all to succeed and I have no problem giving credit wherever (and to whoever) it is deserved if we do...

60M infected is a health crisis. 10k is a talking point.
 
And no, we are NOT on the same team. I'm on the team that understands the damage this media-driven panic is doing to this nation right now. I understood the impact it would have had during Swine Flu as well, that's why my 'team' didn't participate then either.

Thankfully, Trump has a brilliant economic mind, and is smart enough to surround himself with people that are equally wise. So the damage will be severely lessened, but still felt.

The odds are that the average poster here will NOT know a person who has contracted coronavirus.

The odds are that the average poster here WILL know a person that will lose a job or a business due to this.

I'm not on a team that would attempt to bankrupt this country's economy, just to get rid of the guy in the Oval Office.

Why are people congregating in crowds in every Walmart and Costco in the country, which is the EXACT thing they should NOT be doing?

Because of CNN and other media that's hyping this panic.

If trump wanted to beat back the panic, he should have tested early and aggressively. The. He could go up to the podium and say: notwithstanding the scaremongering by cnn, this is the scope of the problem, this is what we’re doing to separate and treat the infected, and by looking at countries who have done the same thing thing, this is how long we can anticipate this lasting. But he refused to test. And now he has no idea how many people are infected and neither does anyone else or wall st. Werent you the one saying wall st. Hates uncertainty?

Damn. I had no idea he was testing...or that he refused to test...all on him? Was the CDC out of town or something? Did HHS get kidnapped?
Are you coached to use this wording by your handlers at the DNC?

All on him. Correct. That’s the gig. And if you want to give him a pass for the early failure, ok. You have lower standards than me, but that stands to reason. But now we’re two months in and testing is still a clusterf.ck. It’s going to get a lot of people killed that shouldn’t have been, prolong this ongoing economic apocalypse and get him fired. So yeah, he should have seen to it.
