So I can only assume that in all these many years, black people from UT have been hurt and have had to go to counseling to survive life. If it was such a big deal, why would they go to UT in the first place? It seems that people are researching everything and anything they can that might have some tie to historically acclaimed slavery. When is this BS going to stop?

The jerks tearing down statues have no clue that some of those men were on the side of the slaves.

I dont care what side they were on...These were soldiers and leaders in one of the most important wars of American history. I want to see statues of both Lincoln and Lee. Grant, Jackson, Custer...I also want to see major figures like Jefferson, Washington, Madison, Monroe, Adams and Franklin. America is exceptional an we should focus on those thing that have made us great. We can look back on our past problems but the focus should be on our successes. We need to accentuate the things that make us proud and feel patriotic.

We also need to focus on promoting a patriotism based on fealty to our Constitution as intended and written and not a blind love of the dirt under our feet, fealty to the people of our current government or even our fellow countrymen.

No the Founders and the documents they gave us made us exceptional not the last 107 years of unconstitutional actions by foggy bottom.

Even today they all pledge fealty to the document they ignore. Its time to relearn real fealty and place it were it is supposed to actually lie.

I grew up in part one block off Sheridan Road in Lawton. General Sheridan ordered the early morning ambush and massacre of the Southern Cheyenne at the Washita River by Col. Custer and the Seventh while the Cheyenne flew U. S. and white flags. I have no plans to petition the Lawton city council to rename the road.

General Custer and the Seventh paid dearly at the Little Big Horn when the Northern Cheyenne, Arapaho and Lakota made their last stand. White man calls it "Custer's Last Stand." I've walked the battle ground.

The large majority of the paying fans at games are of white decent, as are the donors to the Universities Athletic Associations.

I think that we might need a NEW & IMPROVED QUOTA system for the football and basketball teams. Having at least 50% of players on the teams, being of white decent.

Both things are stupid imo, but if one is necessary, then maybe we can balance out one stupid thing, with the other stupid thing....
