The Southern Border (and Ukrainian refugees) is the most important issue right now for this country and when people judge what a "RINO" is, this element is the most basic.

If you, as a R, vote or support in a way that permits dreamers (children of illegal immigrants) or illegals from gaining immediate citizenship then you are not a republican. You believe in inexpensive labor, driving down wages and improving corporate profits. Democrats, espouse (and many believe) that they are doing it for humanitarian reasons, which is laudable. They do not offer on how they are going to pay for these programs, of course.

I'd argue that makes Mexicans fleeing cartel violence refugees. I'd also say it makes a good case for the legalization of marijuana.

Most likely. Still, between the CIA meddling in South American politics and the introduction of cocaine and sinsimella into North America, some of that blame rests squarely on our shoulders. Not suggesting we let Mexican criminals willy nilly into the country, or even give those that are here illegally a pass ( or their children.)

THere is a middle ground. Talk to a naturalized Mexican imigrant or one with a green card and you'll find they don't like illegals anymore than you do.

IF/WHEN we ever get the swamp drained out, cleaning up Mexico should be the next objective.

I'd assign A-teams to each cartel, and then let them have at it.
Make Mexico safe and profitable for Mexicans, and they'd stop storming the U.S. boarder.
