This was a the second day we actually could post here. If you click on my screen name it will show you the day we got the email from Higdon. I was here on the 29th and then made that post above congratulating Jason and saying hey to y’all’s existing members on the 30th.

Many make remarks and quit this site that day and joined On3. If you look at the folks giving me a heads up that they made it over to Rivals you will she some who post in here. But most post in the Gators Sports Board. The Swamp🐊
Like you said to Theo the old 1st and Ten Florida Lounge is long gone. It’s impossible to bring up anything from that old site. If you look at that thread above you will see many you know that got mad and left that day. 🇺🇸
Disclaimer: I’m no IT guru. It potentially can still be accessed, maybe? Everyone here shows similar joining dates I think when things merged (mine shows 2021 too I think but I was here earlier. but when I went to the bottom of the parking lot, I clicked on the last page of the parking lot today and it took me back to 2013. Im pretty sure I was posting here back when Covid started so if you go to a specific page you maybe can locate the thread. I went to 200 and it was sometime in 2020) Maybe you can also filter by subject (if you remember it) or the time around when it was posted and still recover it. Not sure, just maybe an option if you want to pursue this further.
It's no big deal. I did a search on his history and it starts about the time you guys got merged in. My point is that Kearsedgator wasn't with our group in 2020, or I'd remember him having such an unusual name. The posters who were harassing him in 2020 weren't here either, or there would have been some epic wars. That Tom Petty/Gator 4th qtr anthem is true. 😂
Thanks, and that certainly makes sense then. I just did a quick check to see how far the posts went back and it was much earlier than the timeline of the Covid talk so thought I would mention it. Again, my skills in that arena are very limited, lol.
I’m not being sarcastic nor am I saying anything about anyone’s ability to locate or access archived post. I think I’m not conveying the situation or y’all aren’t understanding the situation.
1st and Ten Florida
A site built and owned exclusively by Jason Higdon it went online in the fall of 2018. He named the discussion page The Lounge his reason was he wanted it to be like a sports bar atmosphere just a group of Gator fans sitting around shooting the sh💩t. Jason had been around the message boards forever as a poster. He then became involved in some sites Scout for one.
He had developed a huge following of Gator fans that kept asking him to get something going. They wanted a site that gave recruiting information and Gator Sports Information but predominantly Football information. They wanted a site where they didn’t have the Chaos, Bullying, Cliques, Posse, Negativity Etc Etc Etc. The site wasn’t your typical site for the most part everyone got along and it was a breath of fresh air. If you just wanted Gator Football Recruiting and Information with Civil discussions it was fantastic. Trolls and Trouble Makers were warned once and then banned. For two years it grew to about 500 members and had great insiders Heisman, KC, Nelly, Halley, Puff, and one or two others.
In the Spring of 2020 Covid reared its ugly head and people couldn’t help but mention it and discuss it. There were no back pages or free site areas like the corporate sites so people started bringing up Covid in the threads. Because of the upcoming 2020 Election Politics was also a big part of everything going on and had some ramifications when The Whitehouse was doing daily press conferences. The Covid Shot was also a huge discussion point.
The Lounge that was designed and built for Gator Football Only was becoming chaos because left and right started squaring off. Heated discussions ensued and it was getting out of hand. Jason opened up a back page to The Lounge and named it The Parking Lot. The theme was if you want to discuss politics Covid religion music etc etc take it outside to Parking Lot. 😎
When that site closed shut down or whatever you want to call it. It was November approx the 30th 2021 Mullen was let go and Napier had been picked. We all received an email and Jason posted a pinned thread telling us he was starting a new site that will still be 1st and Ten Florida but it will be on the Rivals Network. He would own it and have full control and The Lounge would become The Swamp.
We almost all came over on or around November 29,30 2021. That site may exist somewhere on a server Jason has control of but it isn’t accessible by members or former members. I would love to have tons of that information available but unfortunately it’s basically cyber dust to me because I have zero ability to see any of it. I had a ton of posts and likes bonus points built up but we all started over day one on Rivals as Baby Gators 🐊 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😎

This is my view also, as I have been onboard with Jason since 2007...except when he left Scout UF for Texas board. When he started his own, I was back immediately. I do recognize that many here have been around a LONG time before we got here.

I was talking about all the lies and crap that were brought on by the left and their minions that day. I was speaking on all the videos and the information I brought forward in our old Parking Lot on Jason’s original site where me and you met. I had all those videos showing what looked like Ant-Tea-fa members dressing into American Flag clothing and Trump hats MAGA hats. Them filming themselves storming up busting windows climbing gutters and Lattice. All that footage was squashed by YouTube Twitter and a few other places it clearly told the story. It showed the lady Ashli Babbit being led outside to the inside by three guys she didn’t even know she was outside minding her own business they went outside and visibly fired her up with some verbal propaganda. She then thinking she was helping went with them inside and up the stairs. The three guys start pushing beating on the door and then she follows their lead which she will regret. They are shown backing up out of the video when she starts pulling at the plexiglass and then she climbs up the video pans to the right and shows the three guys leaving and then it pans back to the left the Officer draws his pistol and Boom 💥
When I brought these things up and going back to the day of Jan 6th the hyper lefties in the old parking lot called me a White Supremacist they called me an Insurrectionist because I even suggested it was setup by Pelosi.
@NavigatorII didn’t remember any of that because I had to explain it was a totally different parking lot that doesn’t exist any longer. And I quit posting when these same lefty Gator fans heard I was in the hospital with Covid posted they hoped I didn’t make it home. 🤷♂️ All because I had a different point of view. 🥴🙀🤯🤷♂️
