I'm seeing people who believe in him. People touting his resume and record of success. That success to me was being the top or tied for top regular season team in a bad conference. So let's look at numbers and see if he really has a good resume by examining performance relative to competition in his peer group.

This year RPI 40. 7-10 record vs. RPI 1-100
Last year RPI 60. 2-4 record vs. RPI 1-100
Year before RPI 59. 5-6 record vs RPI 1-100
Year before that RPI 54. 3-4 Record vs RPI 1-100

Fact: He's never had a winning record vs 1-100 in a season.

Bonus fact: the year after he left La Tech RPI 115 is 3-1 vs top 100.

Conference Tourney results:

2015 lost to RPI 132
2014 lost to RPI 71
2013 lost to RPI 257

Fact: With everything on the line upset 3 of 3 years with one being bad and one atrocious.

"But Stevie B, he won 100 games in 4 years at La Tech. Why are you overlooking that?'

OK.

Last year 17-1 vs RPI 150+
Year before 19-1 vs RPI 150+
Year before that 18-2 vs RPI 150+
Year before that 14-3 vs RPI 150+

Fact of his 91 regular season and conference tourney wins against D-I teams 68 came against RPI 150+. That is more than two thirds. He got to the 101 by being 5-0 against non D-I and the other 5 wins in NIT.

So I ask his supporters. What in his actual resume based on what he did against similar competition, how he underperformed in conference tourneys and how he padded his win total has you so convinced?
