Two different things.

I THINK it’s going to be Bama and Georgia, I want Bama ( to shut up the Non-Power 5 schools ) and Michigan as I HATE Georgia. To many games in Jacksonville dealing with drunk toothless Dawg fans.

I actually dont mind Alabama being successful, even winning championships, in fb if UF isnt in the picture.

That being said, I both would want and think it boils down to Alabama vs Michigan.

I just think Michigan is a better overall team than UGA.

I’m afraid Michigan won’t be able to run the ball on them and they can’t pass at all. They probably have the best defense uga has faced so far, and they could shut them down as well. It might be a question of who blinks first. I think the one aspect that might turn in Michigan’s favor is that there is probably some self doubt around uga since they have basically had one meaningful game and got destroyed. Michigan is far and away better than anyone they faced other than alabama. Their confidence must be shaken. We also know that if it comes to in game adjustments, kirby is a liability, so if Michigan can keep it close you have to like the chances of kirby choking it away. That said, I expect they’ll win, and hue alabama some tape on how they plan to adjust, which will give alabama another title.

UM-UGa will be who can adjust. UM strength is pash rush but if they can’t stop the UGA run game it won’t matter. Harbaugh will have to adjust as running between the tackles on UGA has proven to be all but impossible, Saban didn’t even try.

I think Bama wins and I am pulling for them to win by 40+ so we never have to hear this G5 crap ever again.

UM and UGa are clones of one another so hard to predict. UGa is a little more athletic, a little deeper and much more used to the heat and humidity than UM. Outside of that it is a really hard game to predict.

I hope UGa wins by 40. Michigan has the most arrogant, obnoxious fan base. F them

My best friend, who is a Bama fan, brazenly announced the beat down for today. I was taken aback, for I am the superstitious sort when it comes to football.

he then went on to say that he hopes Georgia wins so they beat their ass again.

once more I was shocked.

I begged him to take it back and reverse that bad ju ju.

He then said "if you've been a Bama fan for the last 14 years, you wouldn't believe in superstition. But I've been saving you a seat on the bandwagon if you ever get tired of losing."

That said, it would be funny if Bama whooped Georgia again.

He may not believe in superstition(I dont either)......but he better believe in Alabama being very flaky this year. I think they win it all, but it really wouldnt be mind-boggling to see Cincy beat them either.

A 6-7 UF nearly beat them....Texas A&M beat them....A 6-7 Auburn almost beat them...

Two schools with losing records and a total of 20-18(win verse loss for all 3)

weeks to prepare. I think it's something like 24-17 in the first half and then closes at 45-24.

Clearly you have some bad experiences with Michigan fans, but I’m sure you don’t mean that!

The difference is Saban has had 4 weeks to prepare for a team, and one with much less depth and talent. Then add in he has his players convinced all the media love for Cincy is somehow a disrespect to them.

I like Bama’s chances.

You are sure I don’t hope UGa wins? I hope they win and win big.
Wow. Well… you must really hate Michigan! There are very few times I would root for uga and anyone that can stop them from winning a title is definitely getting my support. You sure you wouldn’t rather have Michigan beat them then lose to Alabama? Or worse, Cincinnati? That would be way more humiliating than losing to uga. But hey, whatever floats your boat, right?

He loathes Michigan.

Not a lot of Georgia fans up his way.

Apparently! There aren’t a lot of them out where I live either and I still couldn’t root for them if they played any of the local schools. Of course the fans out here are all fair weather fans which is annoying in its own right, but hey, to each their own.

I do have to say I understand how you can truly loathe a team and their fanbase though!

When it comes to bowl games, I am 100% SEC all the way. I even held my nose and cheered for UT.

This is the basic difference between me and you.

If UGa and FSU were to play, I would root for the earth to open up and swallow Georgia and Florida State, while you would root for the earth to open up and swallow Florida State and Georgia.

I never, ever pull for Georgia or FSU in any sport at any time. Just can't do it. Tennessee is a close 3rd.

Bama too much along the lines. Blowout well on the way. Bama fans believe they will be dominant forever...

I would pull for uga if they played f$u or if they could he’ll use with a win. Say we’ve beaten them and they are playing tennessee and a uga loss gives us the sec easy title, I’ll root for them then. I would never under any circumstances root for f$u. They are evil and there is no circumstance where it’s good to root for evil

IMO Fickell is playing this to be able to say “see we didn’t get blown out”. They are playing offense like they have a 21 point lead.

Bryce Young is not playing well today. He looks rattled like he did against Auburn.

Tebow,

I'm sure everyone is keeping an eye on the Bama - Cincinnati game.

Didn't see the Auburn game so I can't judge how well Young & Bama are playing but it's 24-6 Bama with 10 minutes left in the 4th Qtr; so not doing too badly.

I dont want to hear anything else about Cincinnati ever making the final 4 again. They had no business playing Bama today. The running back for Bama #4 Robinson has more total yards by himself than the whole Cincinnati team. Whoever was 5, 6 or 7 should have played Bama.

I read some delusional bullshit on Yahoo sports today. Saw some retard post Cincy would finish the season 15-0. I posted their their participation trophies would evaporate in a 3 touchdown loss. I posted a lot of uh huh stuff but the main yahoo board has deleted the thread, now it's gone. My goodness, the PC police does NOT let snowflakes suffer their own afflictions. I hate Harbaugh and his lame ass coaching and all things UM, but go Wolverines! 🤣

I wont say "never", but certainly needs to show more than beating Notre Dame before getting a top 4 spot. Houston is a respectable team, but Cincy was already assigned #4 way before that game.

Notre Dame was 5, Ohio State 6, Baylor 7. Cincy beat Notre Dame and Notre Dame has not done well in the playoffs either when given the chance. Ohio State lost to Oregon & Michigan. Baylor lost to TCU & Iowa State. I think Cincy earned the right to be in the game, but it was obvious that they were outmatched on the line of scrimmage vs. Bama. I think one of those 2 great UCF teams from a few years ago would have given Alabama a better game. They could light up the scoreboard.
I understand what you're saying though, TebowTime, but maybe it's just that only 3 teams were truly worthy and they had to stick a 4th team in there, with Cincy being the most deserving. I certainly don't think the Irish, Buckeyes or Baylor earned the right to be #4. But that's just my opinion.

this is exactly why playoff expansion is a terrible idea, we couldn’t even find a 4th decent team

also, they need to quit with “deserve” and give us the 4 best teams. Ohio St was the 4th best team

On a turf field in a dome Ohio St would run up big numbers against Bama. It's about the matchup these days. Michigan got the perfect set up, home with horrible weather...played right into their hands. On a turf field against Bama the Michigan power run game will suck, while Bama will run up half a buck on them.

Lets expand it to 16. Show why it is at 4 now. Bring in the Pac12 champ at 10-2 or whatever. Cincy at G5 would beat that Pac12 ass.

Average CFP playoff margin of victory is 21. In my opinion we aren't getting the best 4 regardless of standings or rankings. Either expand it or scrap it and go back to the old bowl system. At least you generally had closer games. No fun watching cincy get 76 yards in the first half.

Im actually of that opinion. I think any team in the top 16 has the potential to beat a team in the top 4.

#17 and beyond? Not so much

Plus 16 spots remind me of the basketball tourney seedings. Sure, a #16 is not going to win the whole thing, but they can change the scene and weed out any pretenders. Lets have our "December Madness"!!!

Plus I think people will have less fuss of who actually makes it in.

I agree with all except the last sentence. There will always be those who fuss even with 32.

Looking like Michigan has no business playing Georgia. Looks like another SEC title game rematch.

Oooof, well I was clearly wrong on Michigan. Well, if UGA has to win I hope they set a record on how badly they beat michigan.
