Mike White still has 2 regular season games, the SEC Tournament and either the NCAA Tournament or N.I.T. Tournament to add to his total of 141-86. So, let’s say he goes 1-1 in the next two and 2-2 in the Tournaments, that would make him 144-89 or in 7 years he’d have 5 less wins and 16 more losses than Billy D. Seems the way people talk he’s got a losing record.

Billy D took over a program that had been to the Elite Eight once in its history.

Mike White took over a program that had been to the Elite Eight in 4 of the last 5 years.

It's about more than simply wins and losses. It's about SEC titles (deep runs in the NCAA tourney, national titles, too, as icing on the cake), plus being in contention for a conference championship year in and year out. Billy D was, Mike White hasn't been. His best year, when they went to the Elite 8, the Gators finished 3rd in the SEC. That's his best finish in 7 years. Not good enough, IMO.

What Florida lacks with Mike white is players like . Lee Humphreys,Teddy DuPay,Chandler Parsons,Mike Miller , Anthony Robertson etc . Guys that can actually shoot. Mike white gives up shooters for more athletic type players. We will never win without pure shooters that are actually consistent sitting behind the 3 point line. You get Mike White to understand that basketball is still basketball and he may compete for the SEC and national titles. It's not the offense that Mike White runs , it's the players he recruits . If you got guys who cant consistently shoot behind the ark or hit free throws you are flat out going to lose against most good teams.

Size too. Every year we are one of the smallest teams in the country. I think this year we were 228 or something.

Skilled players with size and athleticism usually end up with the blue bloods. Mike White isn't skilled enough to make due with less.

It seems like he wants to be vintage Arky and run "40 minutes of Hell". But he doesn't have the cojones to actually do it, so he recruits a team that can't play half court and runs half court most of the time.
