Where in the world did your Defense come from?

Our game last year @ The Swamp (still butthurt over that but it is what it is) was much different ... I do not remember you all having that great of a defense last year, and now, out of absolutely no where it is an elite defense. I don't keep up with you all that much obviously but did you hire new defensive coaches or just replace head coach?

Either way, the Gators defense is absolutely nuts.

The defense was always good, nochamps influence was just toxic on the offensive side of the ball, could t run, couldn't pass and turned it over all the time. He's gone, we're on the way back and you're about to be Kentucky to us.

Its been like this for years. Its just that previously that Defense go NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER from the Offense. As a result we often tired late in games as the Defense was put out on the field over and over again by an Offense that couldn't even get first downs - much less actual points. Now we have an Offense that is at least functional.

Amazing what a difference having a real coach makes.

Yeah defense has been legit for the last few years...I mean we've had some games that we haven't played the best but the defense has been pretty great the whole time. Problem has been on the offensive side of the ball.
