We badly need an age limit. I suspect this episode scares the hell out of the democrats.
IMO we should never have a president who is 80 years old. I would probably make 75 the limit personally. Joe Biden will be 82 if he wins re-election. The average life expectancy for an 82 year old man is only 7 years. What the hell are we doing?????
Trump isn't much better as he will be 78 if he gets elected. They both should be eliminated because of their age - regardless of their current mental state. We are projecting out some 5.5 years before the term would end.....who knows when the "Mitch" effect will hit either one of them.
Fun fact......Bill Clinton was first elected president in 1993. 30 years ago. He, right now, is still younger than BOTH Trump and Biden. George W is also younger and Obama is 20 years younger than Biden.

Mitch was the County Judge (Jefferson County Mayor/City Manager) for Louisville when we lived there back in 1980/81. He was always a sharp man and frankly he still has a lot more marbles upstairs than old Delaware Depends Dimwit, or Lord help her Senator Feinstein.

I’m a native Kentuckian and I take exception to your comment. He still had the goods when he was re-elected back in 2020, and was definitely better than his Democratic opponent.
That said, he is going downhill fast.
His earlier medical issue seems to have affected his balance as well. He has had some falls recently. He battled polio as a young child.
We liked Louisville and found the locals to be very nice people. My daughter was born there!

What?? You’re extreme in your views it is what it is. I am about as apolitical as anyone can be.. I believe in freedom and all that goes into that…. Fiscal conservative and social liberal. Not woke just think people should be free to live the life they want to, so long as it doesn’t hurt others. Not rocket science. Fiscally, we need to maintain price stability so our standard of living doesn’t erode. Ie, don’t hinge borrow and binge spend. You want to spend it, you better raise it via the tax code, not via the fed with artificially low rates amd qe.
