Here’s an update regarding Markway:
One source told me Notre Dame still doesn’t know of the kid’s decision. Markway hasn’t told them anything. Sometimes schools already have a good idea of where a kid might end up, so that might not be good for Notre Dame.
“They still have nothing. That can’t be good.”
As for Florida, one source who has been correct several times in the past says he’s feeling good about the Gators' chances. Alabama, Ohio State, Missouri, Iowa and LSU are the additional schools in the mix, but I've been hearing more Florida and Notre Dame from the start.
The kid previously said Tim Brewster is the best TEs coach in the country, so that relationship has been very strong for a number of months. Even before his visit to Gainesville, the 2023 prospect always had Florida near the very top of his list
"Everything was first class," Markway previously told Gators Territory. "We were with coach Brewster all day, literally from start to finish. He's a super great guy; just a good person. He's also the best tight ends coach in the country, so being able to learn from him, I mean, it's a big deal."

I am not comfortable with submitting a prediction just yet, but I’m hearing more positive buzz for Florida right now. We will see how it all plays out.
