What changes need to be made?

True, but Mullen was supposed to make us better than the 4th best team in the SEC. Georgia and Alabama are outrecruiting us big time and I think last year's class was only the 7th best in the conference and this year's recruiting class right now is ranked #16 in the nation. That ain't good enough, IMO. He simply isn't bringing in enough elite players to make us an elite team and you can't cover the substandard (by SEC standards) recruiting by getting 2 or 3 guys from the transfer portal every year. He was hired and paid huge $$$ to bring us back to the glory years of Spurrier and Meyer. This is his 4th year and it just doesn't seem to be happening.

Yep the portal has supplemented the recruiting which should be better but there is just enough here to compete for the SEC with the right QB. Also its the first year its his recruits/transfers starting and the system he wants to run.

We are in the same boat A&M is now with the QB limiting the upside. Luckily we aren't in the SEC West or this could snowball to some really bad results.
