The iG pulls out his old worn soap box and mounts it....
One of the iG's all time favorite book series, from one of my Top 5 Authors.
Wizard's First Rule, written by Terry Goodkind, is the first book in the epic fantasy series The Sword of Truth. Published by Tor Books, it was released on August 15, 1994 in hardcover, and in mass market paperback in September 1995.
The first Wizard's Rule introduced was this one:
People are stupid. They believe things (lies) mainly because they either want them to be true,
or they fear them to be true.
And here are a few others that are among my favorites:
Harm can result from good intentions. (the road to HELL)
Passion rules reason. (WOKE)
Mind people's actions over words. (Fake News MSM)
Only allow reason to rule you. (reasoned sell control)
Life is the future, not the past. (yesterday is gone, tomorrow may never come, live in the nmonent)
Ignoring truth is betraying yourself. (life is what is, not what you wish it was)
Truth cannot be destroyed. (but it can be mauled by the fake news, lame stream media)
There have always been those who hate. and there always will be. (so deal with it)
In this world everyone must die. None of us has any choice in that.
Our choice is how we wish to live!
(from the iG - I'd rather die on my feet, than live on my knees)
Here's an iG suggestion for those decades younger than I am, put down your damn phone and pick up a book. Those that don't read and don't take the time to think about what they are reading,,,,, well, it'S how we are all likely to go down screaming...
(I'm kinda counting on dying of old age first, but the rest of you youngsters are likely in a world of chit) - 😉
We either STAND TOGETHER for freedom, or we will all eventually FALL TOGETHER, because freedom ain't free, and it never has been....
Steps down off the soap box and resumes living moment to moment and day by day....
