Well it is officially Georgia week. Do we stand a chance?

Georgia has the second worst governor in the US. Bad for them

We have the worst

Erp

Play well and win. Nothing will ever change at UGA. They are great at nice wins, awful at really big wins

I think Gwinnett was actually being upfront with his comment in that Smart is bad with QBs. At this point it most certainly is the truth. The fact that UGA recruits really good everywhere else but is down to relying on a walk-on QB and transfer portal QBs at the most important position on the field is not a good thing. Hopefully he continues to screw up at that position.

I just dont' understand why Kirby didn't put in any other QB's in the beatdown of Tennessee or late in the game against Alabama when you knew you weren't going to win. Even one series helps.

The fact that other than the first part of game1, he has played nobody but the 4th stringer, he has absolutely nobody prepared this week as an alternative in what is likely Florida and Georgia's last major game of the season. What if Bennett gets injured in practice this week? What if he gets injured in the 1st quarter? Who does Kirby go with then?

I will give Dan Mullen credit for this, he puts in his backups on a series here and there all the time. We're not talking garbage time either, he is putting Jones and Richardson in the games in the 1st or 2nd quarters every game. Just look at last year against Auburn when Trask went down' for 2 series and Emory Jones had to take over, you never know when you're going to test that Freshman backup option, or be forced to. To my knowledge Kirby Smart hasn't since the Arkansas game.

Not that I'm saying Georgia is losing this game, but I am hopeful.

This board has some of the worst dumb-azz fans spouting off about Governors and sports. 🥴

As to who wins? That depends on who the SEC Home Offices want to win it, and how they instruct their game officials to call it, just like most years.... 😏

Yes of course we have a chance. Yes we should of beat A&M but it wasn’t a bad loss. A&M is ranked in the top 10.
would have beaten AM, we fumbled 10 yards short of Evan's FG range..... Just don't trust Davis with ball in his hands with game on the line.

Four keys to winning.

1. Eliminate TO's
2. Hold UGA to reasonable yardage on the ground
3. Avoid the big plays by UGA
4. Score more points than they do

HA

Yes you should have won but a and m is not a top 10 team, you and i both know that. You and Georgia is going to be interesting, not sure if the weeks off hurt UF or helped them. You guys have Trask so you have a chance in every game. I think the Gators will win.

The rust was obvious in the first half against Mizzou. But we shook it off, now we get a full week of practice and should be pretty fresh going into this game. We should be ready to go.

Well they are ranked in the top 10 right now. Maybe they are & maybe they aren’t. Too early too tell because I haven’t seen much consistency out of many teams this year. We will see where everybody finishes up.

AM did bring back 17 starters, so it shouldn't be a big surprise they are doing well.

As of now, I am unfortunately required by the grace of God to stop hating Tennessee as the worst thing to ever hit college football and maintain 24 hours of Georgia being the most horrible thing to ever step foot upon a college football field. It's on anus-lickers.

I think we should win this game and have confidence we do unlike that A&M game which I had a bad feeling before that game things might go bad.

We have a big advantage with our QB and offense compared to theirs which has been very pedestrian so far. They do have the better defense but I have a hard time seeing them outscoring our offense as we should get a decent number of points against them. Its college football however and anything can happen.

If the defense plays like it did against Missouri we have a decent chance to win. Our front 7 has to slow down their running game, force their QB into passing situations and then put him under pressure. And the offense has to avoid turnovers.

Just by the eye test I would call it an upset if we lose this game. Last year's GA team would run all over this defense but this year's Georgia team doesn't seem to be that good of a running team and that QB has an issue turning the ball over.

Defense was good against the run after that first play. Secondary let receivers run wide open all day, but their QB's missed a bunch of throws and their receivers dropped some passes. Our offense is awesome, especially with Pitts on the field. Excellent win. Still room for improvement, but huge step forward.

Ok I know concede that the 24 hours of Georgia hate is now over. Tennessee regains it's 363 day span as public enemy #1, though I'm not sure FSU get's it's token day this year since we do not play them.

That said, Georgia DID vote liberal this election. Look how fast god punished the state because of that evil misdeed. It just took the next football game and he ripped their hearts out because of it.

Kirbs is bad period. Told everyone he wouldn't cut it and that Dan would.

Has hounddog avatar returned? We are supposed to be in Year 3 of his predicted 10 straight NC seasons for Kirbs. Not watching football this year so need an update on how that's going.

I read that the news media found 17 points for Georgia overnight and declared the Bulldogs the winner 45-44 this morning. Fox News projected the Bulldogs the winner during the 3rd quarter of the game and now the rest of the media has agreed that the Bulldogs really won the game. Any Gators who complain will be censored.

In time, this butthurt will heal.

I was surprised we scored 44. I thought we’d score 28-31. But otherwise the game played out about how I felt. I don’t feel comfortable with ANY game as long as Todd Grantham is on the sidelines. I thought we’d score enough to win but maybe lose because his defense couldn’t stop anybody and he didn’t disappoint. UGA’s QB’s was just worse than his defense.

Now it's time for a little '3rd & Grantham' information....

Florida allowed Georgia to convert just two of its 13 3rd downs (15.4 percent).

- Although it fell into a 14-0 hole and gave up 136 yards on Georgia’s first two possessions, the Gators’ defense responded and allowed just 141 yards on 51 plays (2.76 yards per play).

  • The Gators snared 3 interceptions in the win over Georgia, setting a season high for takeaways.
Last year, the Gators, Florida Atlantic, Oklahoma State, San Diego State, and Tennessee were the only FBS teams with at least 3 interceptions in 3 different games (UF had 3 against Kentucky, Tennessee, and Auburn).

- UF has 8 takeaways this season, bringing its total since the start of 2018 up to 57 -- which is tied for 11th among FBS teams.
- The Gators are 3rd in the SEC in tackles for loss per game this season (6.4).
- UF is coming off its 4th win over an AP Top-10 team with Grantham as the DC.

But hey, never let any facts get in the way of a nasty negative bias... ;)

We all see why the Georgia fans claim Florida fans only believe Gator football started in 1990, Spurrier's first season as HBC.

Series record from 1990-present day
Florida 22
Georgia 9
9 wins in 31 years?

- UF running backs combined for 212 receiving yards on 10 receptions, led by Malik Davis’ five catches for 100 yards -- The 6th 100-yard receiving game by a RB in UF history, and 1st since Chris Rainey’s 104 versus Tennessee in 2001.

Yes he had a very solid game, did what is expected of him, so kudos to Malik.

I still say and stand by my statement that I wouldn’t want the ball in his hands if the game is on the line.

Not only do I stand by my comment but Malik has proven me right on multiple occasions.

Does that mean he isn’t going to have good games and sparks of brilliance? No

My other statement, we win at AM if not for fumble, again more than likely true

Roughly 3 missed wide open dawg receivers that could've changed the complexion of the game. But offensively we went a little conservative in the 4th, so I felt like we could almost score when we wanted.

What it is, is total speculation and opinion on your part, nothing more... 🤓

Had the Gator defense gone 4 and out on A&M's last possession, Malik's fumble would not matter. Any of these and more can lose a game for any team. 😏
Fumble.
Interception.
Missed Tackle.
Bad Throw.
Broken Coverage.
Wrong Route Run.
Off Sides or Encroachment.
And on and on and onnnn.

Wins or losses are very rarely the fault of just one player on any TEAM....
Blaming Malik for the A&M loss is BS, and it also shows no class imoho.
