I don't know WTF happened to this Missouri team. Either Grantham and the defense figured a whole helluva lot out over the past 3 weeks, or Missouri just completely left it's identity on the bus cause that wasn't the same mizzou we've seen the two previous weeks. Does this give us some hope for Jax? I mean Georgia only beat kentucky 14-3 today. 14 points, and one of the TD's was in the 2nd half no less.

if our defense finally is coming around, the season may not be completely a waste as I had thought at the end of the ATM debacle. Thoughts? Anecdotes?

Yes of course we have a chance. Yes we should of beat A&M but it wasn’t a bad loss. A&M is ranked in the top 10.

Yep. Not feeling good right now. Lot of injuries against UK on defense

Wait till Monday or Tuesday when the SEC offices decide to take 10-12 Florida players out of the game in Jax for the "fight" after they get to study the film in more detail.

And I am in no way confident our defense will hold Georgia's running attack as well as Kentucky has. Pass defense has always been our specialty. We are going to have to load the box against them and dare them to throw basically.

Looks like Georgia may be without Lecounte (sp). Got into a vehicular accident right after Georgia arrived back in Athens from the KY game. Ended up in the hospital but no info known on injuries.

We had over 200 rushing, Might as well load the box and get your hands up, cause Stetson can barely see over the line as it is. Last two games very frustrating. Offense is as pedestrian as it had been since Chubb and Michel left.

Our defense is the worst I've seen since Tebow won the Heisman. We could put up 600 yards of offense and 42 points and still lose. But it's 2020.......so I don't know if it's lack of talent on the D side of the ball, coaching, or just the curse of the decade. Still can't figure out is tonight's effort is a complete meltdown of a bad Mizzou team or improvement on D. I guess we'll find out in a week.

I do not see that. Only three were ejected for throwing punches, and the refs certainly looked at the tape. Nobody who avoided ejection will be suspended.

In fact, I don't see any suspensions. I remember when Miami had the big scuffle with either FAU or FIU. Or was it FAMU? Doesn't matter. They had guys suspended for using their helmets as weapons. All our guys did was hit helmets with bare hands. That's not going to cause suspensions.

Not even sure if they will miss any of the UGa game. If the fracas was considered to be part of the last play of the first half, then they should not have to sit out the first half next week. If it was considered the second half, then we lose them for a half.

It should be considered first half. If they missed sitting anyone that should be on the refs. There's no rule to sit them next week from a first half event... but we're talking SEC offices here so who knows.

Disagree on the refs missing. Way too much was going on and they were at ground level trying to get a handle on things like the coaches. It’s even hard to see who was involved watching the tapes. Birmingham is looking at it right now I can promise that. I saw a couple staffers on both teams get clocked pretty hard. Hope they are all OK.

Georgia is certainly beatable for sure and playing below expectations yet again. Not sure it matters. Neither UF or UGA can beat Bama IMO.

You knew it was coming.

Our defense has looked suspect for most games, their offense has looked suspect for the most part. Our offense seems to be great, their defense seems to be great.

Our defense got a lot better with Kyrie Campbell back. He holds up the middle on runs so that we aren't getting pushed 5 feet off the ball all the time and gets a little push on the pocket so the QB can't step up. But I've been watching UF football a long time, if he is the key to our defense he will tear an ACL very soon, either from a high-low block or a helmet on the knee. Seen it happen too many times.

Yes we can win...but UGA has played better than we have as a complete team. If we play good defense we're right there. While we looked better on D against Missu...they aren't Georgia. If I had to bet money on the Gators winning I wouldn't bet. I'm still pulling for my boys of course but that's how I feel based on the play from both teams. UGA has been better collectively this year. I think that it will be close and a turnover will likely decide the game.

Not so sure we’ve played as a complete team. We’ve yet t string together two halves in a single game that aren’t schizophrenic opposites. It’s maddening. 14 points on UK after 24 against Bama?

Pretty much the same offense UGA has always had with Smart. Up and down and no consistency and not good enough to really meet expectations.

The key will be how does our O line hold up against their front. To me that's the key. Not so much our crappy D vs their boring offense. Field position will play a major factor in this game.

I also, think a key is how many of our players will be able to suit up - Covid, injuries, suspensions. In a tight, physical game, depth can become a real factor.

In a nutshell:

Can our defense hold their offense,,,,
better than their defense can hold our offense??? 🤓

Technically by the rules of college football, halftime belongs to the second half of the game. As soon as the clock read 00:00, any disciplinary actions are awarded as per the second half of the game, not the first. They did point that out on SECN.

I saw that after I had posted. I can't believe I'm arguing Florida's case here, but there should have been another play for roughing the passer/late hit. Therefore, it should not have been the last play of the first half. The personal fouls should have been after the play and off setting imo with the late hit on Mizzou enforced and Florida given another snap. Just my honest opinion. Maybe I'm still wrong but it makes sense to me... but officiating in the SEC rarely makes sense.

That was what I thought. Was hoping that it would be considered a continuation of the last play.

If the officials would admit the mistake. If a flag is thrown for the late hit all of the melee probably never happens. Isn’t an official suppose to watch the quarterback on a pass play? If so how the heck did he miss that?

Looks like UGA has lost another QB to the transfer portal. Very interesting. While he was bad in the first game he got benched pretty quickly and Bennett hasn’t exactly been impressive but he keeps getting put back there. It is only going to add fuel to the fire with Fields, Newman and now Mathis.

There is no UGA QB in the transfer portal. I am not predicting the future. As of today there is no QB in the portal.

Strong rumors of Mathis entering the portal. I think it is likely a matter of time.

In this day and time the portal takes a lot of players. Dwan deleted lots of GA pics on his IG and then put them back up, he does this occasionally. As of this morning he was not in the portal. No idea what happens later this year or at the end of the season. He is an incredible athlete. But he had major brain surgery May 2019 and was only cleared to play this May. He took a viscous(clean) hit the 2nd or 3rd series of the Arkansas game. QB room will be very crowded next year, so I would think something happens later on.

Wait. He deletes UGA photos and then puts them back up occasionally? Why would he do this and why would an adult know this?
