Yep. Fred Taylor. Percy Harvin. Emmitt Smith. If you get one a decade you’re lucky.Good luck. There probably has only been 2-3 (Harvin & Reggie Bush) of those guys since I have been watching college football since the early 80s.
So this year we sit Damien Pierce most of the time when it was 1st and goal inside the 5 yard line in the red zone? WTF?These type players determined who win championships.
They were on championship teams. Diggs, Dalvin, Spiller, and Desean Jackson were all that good.Good luck. There probably has only been 2-3 (Harvin & Reggie Bush) of those guys since I have been watching college football since the early 80s.
They were good. They weren’t Harvin/Reggie Bush good who could play RB or WR. Those 2 were a little different. They were on championship teams. Diggs, Dalvin, Spiller, and Desean Jackson were all that good.
It’s all in the offense. Take out Dalvin, and they were all clones: six foot tall elusive open field guys with speed to separate. Reggie Bush and Percy Harvin had balanced offenses that were stacked with NFL players. They were good. They weren’t Harvin/Reggie Bush good who could play RB or WR. Those 2 were a little different.
We can agree to disagree. Since I’ve been watching college football I haven’t seen players quite like Harvin and Reggie Bush with those same skill sets. Those guys you mentioned were good but I put Harvin and Bush in a different category. It’s all in the offense. Take out Dalvin, and they were all clones. Not a Gator but seriously, you guys forgot about Barry Sanders? Little guy who played for some shit tiered teams. Where does he rank?We can agree to disagree. Different type of player than Harvin and Bush. Yes Sanders was great. He wasn’t a receiving threat however. The OP specifically mentioned getting another player like Harvin. I took that as a type of player that can score multiple ways (running/receiving/KR, etc). Not a Gator but seriously, you guys forgot about Barry Sanders? And there’s something to be said for showing out in the biggest games. That certainly differentiates players. Part of what makes Peter Warrick who he is is that his best game was in the BCS Championship against Mike Vick.Percy took down Arkansas in the SEC Championship just about all by himself. They had Darren McFadden and Felix Jones.
Pretty darn good in that 2008 national title game against OU as well and wasn’t 100% bPercy took down Arkansas in the SEC Championship just about all by himself. They had Darren McFadden and Felix Jones.
Meh. I'll still never forgive Marquand Manuel for letting a pick six go right through his hands and allowed "The Thief" to get a touchdown against UF. "There's a special place in hell for that".And there’s something to be said for showing out in the biggest games. High ankle sprain that caused him to miss the 2008 SEC Champ game against Bama.Knee or ankle was giving him trouble
IMO, the Noles had their version of Percy, and that was Devonte(sp?) Freeman. I really felt he wasn't utilized enough back then. It’s all in the offense. Take out Dalvin, and they were all clones: six foot tall elusive open field guys with speed to separate. Reggie Bush and Percy Harvin had balanced offenses that were stacked with NFL players.
It’s Black Friday, and you’re going to criticize a guy for getting a great discount on shoes?Meh. I'll still never forgive Marquand Manuel for letting a pick six go right through his hands and allowed "The Thief" to get a touchdown against UF. "There's a special place in hell for that".
And on the blocked video, can I get a "Let's Go Goodell!" ?
Check out our boy in Super Bowl 48 on a pop up kick and getting that ring.. The look on Peyton's face is priceless.

He’s the truth. I actually stopped watching after the td right before halftime of the usce game because it felt like we had quit. The kne guy I knew never would was Pierce. I’ll always be proud to call that guy a Gator. So this year we sit Damien Pierce most of the time when it was 1st and goal inside the 5 yard line in the red zone? WTF?Hopefully he gets a better shake in the NFL. Man plays his guts out. God bless him.
