there isn’t one chance in a million that ND beats Bama, OSU is a joke (almost losing to NW), and Clemson, although good, isn’t on that level.

Bama vs Clemson in the final. I’d call it a toss up at this point. I’d be very surprised if Bama doesn’t beat ND rather convincingly.
Clemson has a much better defense than us and Venables I’m sure will scheme up something much better than Grantham did. Especially when it comes to defending Devanta Smith. Bama’s D does struggle against offenses that can spread them out and sling it around (See UF & Ole Miss).

I think Clemson takes them down. Balanced and explosive offense. They can match Bama in points but they have a stronger defense than you. You guys were a few boneheaded penalties and bad clock management at the half away from beating them. Clemson won’t make those mistakes

Clemson could have beat LSU they just didnt play well but i did think LSU was the better team. If they played 10 LSU wins 6 or 7. This yr, not so much. Clemson is better and this bama team is not as good.

Not as confident as that though I lean to Clemson winning it all. I would like to see the look on Saban's face if Bama does lose to them again. He would be owned by Clemson at that point.

You don’t think it’s that close yet UF averages more yards per game and more yards per play but yet it isn’t that close? Trask had a better year than Lawrence. Lawrence might be a better QB but he didn’t have as good of a year statistically speaking

I dont care about stats when discussing the top 5. If i go to a 5th grade basketball tournament and avg 50 pts a game am i better than Jordan? Trask is damn good, i mean damn damn good. Lawrence is once in a generation. Dude is one of the best players ive seen at QB. Etiene is one of the best running backs and they have multiple NFL receivers and playmakers. The o line can run and pass block. I get the stats argument but it just doesnt hold up. Clemson didnt play the team that they could get the most stats on (i will leave the name out ). Lets say Clemson and UF are dead even on offense.... Clemson still has the better defense and the better d coordinator. They are the only team who can beat bama unless bama beats themselves.

I think that with Trevor Lawrence back in charge and the way Florida exposed Alabama's defense, Clemson will win the national championship. Florida's passing game is better than Clemson's, but Clemson is much more balanced. Plus, Clemson's defense is way better than ours.

My basic point was Clemsons defense is much better and i cant see a position on the field where UF is better on offense except TE. Just trying to compare because UF played bama very wel. I think clemson is the best team in the country, then bama then UF but i do think there is gaps between those teams. I also think UF would rag doll ND. Hell we kept it close with ND lol

Clemson is about the only one I am neutral on. Always hated ND. Not a fan of OSU and I always like seeing Saban lose. I think GA and FSU are about the only teams I might root for Saban to beat in a big game.
