if current scores hold here's my take on the CFP rankings when they are released Tuesday:

1. Clemson
2. Bama
3. Iowa
4/5. ND/OU
6. Michigan St.
7. Baylor
8. Ohio St.
9. UF

It would be a gift should we only fall one spot.

Bump -now that the rankings are actually out I am shocked. I get we have struggled the past 2 weeks but the bottom line is the team has dug deep and found a way to win. I see ZERO justification to fall behind both Stanford AND Michigan.

Not only do both teams have 2 losses, Stanford is a WSU missed FG from having a 3rd loss. Can someone please explain the hard on everyone has for Stanford

They're trying to squeeze a Pac 10 team in it looks to me.

You guys still don't get how this committee works. They don't care that you've only lost one game, they care how you're playing and how good you are. What justification would you have to be ranked above those teams right now?

We saw this last year with FSU and this year with Ohio State.

I said it last week that Michigan and Stanford weren't dead. Not too many people agreed with me.

I don't have a problem with the ranking because I believe both teams would beat us pretty easily to be honest. I do think it's funny though how many people are a-ok with a 1-loss team falling behind TWO 2-loss teams since the victim is an SEC team. Could you imagine the tears if an SEC team with two losses jumped a 1-loss team from another conference that hasn't lost in weeks based on the eye test? We'd never hear the end of the talk about 'SEC bias!'
