Watching the ESPN gameday guest picks ...

They had on Nolan Smith, former UGA DE/Edge player (now with the Eagles) since Gameday was at UGA. He seems like a very personable guy...but something struck me as he was making his picks (which BTW...I have no idea how they turned out) but every pick he stressed the front 7 and trenches. Every comment he made was a reflection of the indoctrination he got at UGA about the trenches. He kept saying that whoever wins the LOS usually wins the game, etc etc. Every pick he made was because he felt that team would win the LOS game. Anyway, my observation was that he was less concerned with the skill players on any team and was fully indoctrinated to focus on the OL and front 7.

It's been a very long time since those were the strengths of our team.
