I've never personally had an issue with Gene, but he's allowed his moderators to become little Gestapos and that reflects back on him as the site owner. That place has been going to crap for years. I'd rather post in "enemy" territory than over there, so I canceled my membership after nearly 18 years.
You are right my friend. I was a Warchant subscriber but I couldn't stomach Gene's constant whining and threats to anyone who was critical of them sugar coating everything. Plus I don't have another 10+ years to waste waiting for them to turn it around. This teams more fun to watch. From now on it's Go Gators!
Well, I wouldn't go that far. I'd still rather get my toenails ripped off than pull for the orange and blue, but the posters here (minus a few duds) are pretty solid. This is also a very fair place to post providing you remember where you are.
Was banned there about a decade ago and NEVER went back even after the reset. Gestapo mods are an accurate description. Even making threats on the free board and NOTHING is allowed to be critical of Anything. Oh well, F.S.U.cks anyways and as always...

I know of at least a dozen posters who canceled. That's $1200 less for 2019 than he would have gotten...and we're giving it to another site instead. LOL

Ours always has been more of a benevolent and welcoming dictatorship under the auspices of such astute mods as @GordonGecko @SwamiG8R and @passoverGator among others.
There have been some joke posters here over the years that have been top notch.

Most didn't, hence the mas exodus. I think WC's business model is to not care about existing customers and always focus on new ones...keep the wheels churning. Eventually, people will catch on, though.
I was banned from there for asking what happened to the Locker Room and if we lost any long time members. Yup, that was my horrendous post that got me banned--I questioned the establishment. After I got released I referenced the banning (with the sig block in the OP) and got banned again. LOL
SJWs have done everything possible to destroy free speech. They wrap it up as protecting people's rights while taking them away ( the ones they disagree with, free speech is only for the progressive regressives apparently

This board is great because we have Kentucky fans, Georgia fans, Tennessee fans, Miami fan (s), Florida State fans, UCF fans , an Alabama fan,and even an Oklahoma fan. We have people with all kinds of different views on religion and politics but we all discuss it without trying to silence the opposition. WarChant is free to do as they want as is any other privately owned domain, but it is a stifling facist regime of spear throwing mutton heads incapable of hearing a negative view on the beloved Semis.

Except not really. SBNation had FSU as #6 (60K) and UF at #8 (54K). Though I'd think that reverses this spring.
They’re not going to put up with being questioned. I once got banned at WC for having a Barney Fife signature on the Gator board!
It was actually (iirc) the largest spring game capacity to date...WT had 300 former players on hand for a big party (lots of dancing) and a flag football game. I doubt we come anywhere close to that this year.
