Just read he was suspended last season for two games for violation of team policy.
Same again. Was he ran through several tests after his injury? Blood work came up dirty?

This was his 3rd strike. He was forced to sit the games last year vs Oklahoma and F-U due to failing his 2nd weed smoking violation. Really hurt us
DT is an extremely thin position for UT but Jones doesn't cut any slack to any player. Kicked "Pig" Howard off even though he was the leading W/R due to his 3rd strike .
Ever player arrested was immediately suspended and barred from the campus. 2 were found to be innocent and got to return. But one took 6 months and DNA testing to prove his innocence. Other had video surveillance proving who the real burglar was.
For all his flaws, Jones is not Nick Saban or Jimbo Fisher, allowing arrested players to sit out a half game as "Punishment" for getting caught with drugs firearms crimes, rape,armed robbery, shoving crab legs in his drawers, etc, etc.

Butch does this every year. Loads up on commits then cuts them for higher rated players.
A lot of our fans dont like it but it is what it is. Gotta get the best available. One example being that we told 4 star dominique booth to look around a couple of years ago and replaced him with 5 star josh malone. There are maybe 5 more "decommits" coming.
