Visiting and have questions

I'm a student at U of Cincinnati and just went down to Orlando for the Football game vs UCF and I enjoyed myself quite a bit, now that I am back in Cincy it is very cold, literally like 40 degrees rn and freezing my balls off and I see our lady Bearcats play the Gators in Basketball in a few weeks and with the free flight miles I still have to use, I might come down for the game and spend another weekend in sunny Florida ... the day of the game December 5th it looks like sunny and in the 70s, whereas back in Cincy it's rainy and in the low 40s :/

Anyways I'm probably gonna make the trip down and make another vacation out of it for a weekend since classes are all online for me this semester I just have a few questions:

1. What are some good things to do around Gainesville that enforce social distancing? (Anything outdoors and/or fishing is a plus)
2. Any good local businesses to support and get food from while in town? I prefer to support small businesses than the large chains
3. Any pubs or bars close to the Basketball arena to get a couple two three beers before the game that is at least somewhat social distance enforced?

Ope and last thing, good luck with your Football you guys are doing great and I'd love to see you guys or us in the playoffs, but just promise me if you guys make it that you kick the sh*t out of Alabama or an ohio state university for me, thanks!

Thank you for stopping by. I’m in Orlando so thank you for coming down and beating UCF. Their fans have become insufferable so it has been good to see them lose a few games last year and so far 3 games this year.
I honestly haven’t been to Gainesville in quite a few years now unfortunately so I’m not the best person to tell you what to do, etc. However our basketball arena is right next to the Football stadium and adjacent to University Blvd. Typically there are lots of bars and places to eat in that area. Hopefully somebody will chime in that can tell you much more than I can.
Best of luck to the Bearcats as well. Who knows how these last few weeks of the football season will go? As you likely know we have done a good job of taking care of Ohio State in both football and basketball the last few times we have played them.
