Now, if I recall, Kirby Smart was going to kill it at UGA.
Hard to 100% say on him right now but he wouldn't be my first choice. I hope he is another Muschamp and sets Georgia back for years to come.
I wonder, how does the administration now feel for letting go Mr. M. Richt now seeing how UGA is currently doing and seeing how Miami is doing. Sorry but that was a bad move by UGA but a great move for everybody else in the SEC. Richt is not a bad Coach but Kirby Smart is a really bad Coach IMHO...

I don't think anyone around here championed on behalf of another Saban defensive assistant. The only positives I remember hearing about Kirby was he landed a damn good "transition" class.
There was a lot of talk about him being such a good recruiter and that team already being talented that UGA would be a very good team and fight it out with UT for the East.
I said it many times before the season that they would lose at least 3-4 games, it's going to be worse... A true freshman QB, losing all that talent on defense.... Smart told everyone before the season and even after the spring game everyone was raving about how good they would be because of how bad the defense looked against the QB how good they would be and I called 4 losses then... He let everyone know they don't have what is needed in the SEC yet to win and he was right... They even wrote an article about it, that win against UNC was great help in the 2nd half in hilarious fashion in the Dome to seal it they should have lost that one too... But im sure they are ready to ruin our season with nothing to lose now with some hilarious trick plays etc...
I dunno about y'all, but I just LOVE all the complaints by Leghumpers about how stubbornly Kirby insists on plowing up the middle over and over and over again even though it's getting stuffed every time...........

I'm going to tell you the problem with UGA. Too many players on the sideline that should be in the game and too many players in the game that should be on the sideline, very simple. Kirby Smart is pulling a Jon Gruden, wiping out the team to "start over"...Seen it many times.
