Vandy Gameday Thread

When d line runs as fast they can up the field and runs by the qb...that isn't smart football

Guy goes right by the o tackle. We never do the little things right. Culture and atmossphere.

Jesus some of you are miserable people.

This is the best we’ve looked in a while and you’re all sitting around bitching about minor things that every team does wrong and pretending that it’s only us.

Oh look at that!

Now go bitch about the TD run on 4th down to give us a 14 point lead and our 5th rushing TD of the game.

Oh sooooo awful how could we possibly enjoy such a win when we made mistakes too.

How long before the usual suspects show up to explain why we suck and how in reality the coaching staff made so many mistakes that we should have lost by 3 TDS.

Really not trying to be negative. It was our best offensive game of the year, against a decent defense. I do think Mac knows how to run it a little bit, and we have some backs. But I just truly cannot get that excited about home win vs. Vanderbilt coming down to a 4th down conversion. I'm not bitching about Davis scoring because I had the Gators -10.5.

Big picture I think this is the best way for our offense to play and the way Mac wants to play, but I don't think our defense is good enough for it. We definitely could win the East though.

The running game does seem to be really coming around. I think Scarlett missing this season is going to pay big dividends with Davis next season. As far as the overall offense and whether we have really turned a corner or not that LSU game should tell us a lot.

Positive day for the offense. Hopefully we can see more running like that....cut out some of those penalties and we will be ready to compete.

Nice to see us finally play like we had superior athletes.

And Del Rio out for the season is a plus imo. He never should have been the starter anyway. Now we can ride Franks with no silly games or unneeded pressure on him. Let him develop

There will always be pressure once we start losing some games now that the easier part of the schedule is done.

I actually thought the offense did as good as expected today…I thought they played well but the defensive DBs has a lot of work to do and I mean ALL the 2nd and 3rd level DBs… The defense reminds me of 2007 keeping their backs turned to the ball is youth because of the change in speed from high school to college… it usually takes a year to overcome this… UF has some really small linebackers this year !!!

i was a critic of UF offense because of the Michigan game… This past week I stayed away from these message boards for the most part and decided to rewatch the UF - UK game… As a person with Coaching experience I can actually see what both Coach Mac and Nuss are doing…Its about rebuilding this program just like SOS did from the ground up as if Gator football just started up a football program… Whenever you build a program you MUST do it slowly so once it’s built it will be able to stand… Saban did this exact same thing at Bama and look what he has there, a program that will be on top for years to come… Too many people are expecting too many things too quickly…

After watching the UF-UK game I realized what Mac is doing… So i am going to stand and support Mac and his staff… I can promise in a year or two UF will be a huge contender that Bama is going to have their hands full with Florida!!!!

I would rather have my house built slowly and properly than to have it built too fast and with too many shortcuts because the house that is built slowly will stand a lot longer and be stronger than the house that was built too fast…

The offense was actually pretty decent today. The defense was awful. It does look like the offense is improving a little bit.

Malik Davis is the real deal.

People are forgetting this fact, that UF has the number one running back core in college football currently…Think about this, Malik Davis, Lamical Perine, Mark Thompson and upcoming Kadarius Toney are all play makers and you cannot ask for a better group of players like this one, on the same team at the same time … … Tell me any other team currently that has a group like this? There isn’t any and Mac knew exactly what he was doing in recruiting these playmakers!!!!

I cannot wait to see them next year and the year after if they decide to stay!!!

The group Bama has is just silly good.

Every catch Calloway or our WR's make they look like they died from broken bones or pulled hammy directly after.. How is it even possible to keep having that happen for years in a row
