VA Gov. Terry McAuliffe says parents shouldn't tell schools what to teach their kids

Homosexuals comprise perhaps 2% of the population, yet according to the Journal of Sex Research, homosexual pedophiles are responsible for 33% of all child sex offenses. Homosexuals molest children at at least 10 times the rate of heterosexuals.

Where is this info found? Date and volume of the journal mentioned?

It needs to be sent to the BSA who are hell bent on divorcing the obvious problems with accepting homosexuality as normal while at the same time being sued into oblivion because of the molestation of boys by homosexual leaders and other homosexual youth.

Well said. I don't understand the argument to hide things from your kids because you fear they will gravitate towards it.

Because oftentimes the subject matter is inappropriate for the age group. That has been shown on this board DOZENS of times...i.e a flamboyant homosexual discussing sexuality on a television show designed for toddlers.

That is flat out indoctrination.

I don't believe that reading 1 book or taking 1 class will lead to indoctrination.

I remember when my niece was a toddler, my brother and his wife would turn on Barney the dinosaur for her. She's in her 30's now. Aside from the show being utterly stupid and obnoxious like all children's shows are, you could see the political indoctrination dogma creeping in back then. Ridiculous.

That would be a goal.

Agenda-

1: a list or outline of things to be considered or done

//agendas of faculty meetings

2: an underlying often ideological plan or program

//a political agenda
Yeah, not a political, one, but the environment should be challenging on many levels, but safely challenging.

1 book...1 class...because that's what we are all talking about? 1 book and 1 class?

However, let's require 1 book and 1 class be taught in a liberal school district that the right gets to choose and then let's watch the response.

No big deal, right? It won't lead to indoctrination. But I'm guessing that the left would receive that differently.

Do it, I don't believe indoctrination works that way. Also, fatman76 talked about 1 book. One paragraph in one book will lead to indoctrination to him. So yes, you guys are arguing about 1 book or 1 class.

No were aren't, he cited an example...but I give. Why would I argue with you about something like this?

I wouldn’t, obviously.

I don't wish to. I'm entirely defensive, instead of offensive, on the subject. I'm not trying to change others. I'd rather you do you and allow people like me do our thing. And people on your side call people like me fascist? Haha, ok.

Good ole killingagoodman....

Just 1 book -- No problems with The Kuma Satra in 3rd grade, right?

Alternate books:
The Big Lie by Dinesh D'Souza
Black Out by Candice Owens

Just one class -- On the long Racist History of the Dim-moe-Rat party....

How about a class on Democrat Andrew Jackson, an American lawyer, soldier, and statesman who served as the 7th president of the United States from 1829 to 1837. He was the sponsor of the Indian Removal Act, otherwise know as 'The Trail of Tears' by the Indians.

The Democrat Elitists ruled states were determined to take ownership of Indian lands and would go to great lengths (murder & steal) to secure this territory in campaigns that resulted in the transfer of hundreds of thousands of acres of land from Indian nations to Democrat control.

The tribes made the journey to Indian Territory on foot (some “bound in chains and marched double file,” one historian writes) and without any food, supplies or other help from the government. Thousands of people died along the way. It was, one Choctaw leader told an Alabama newspaper, a “trail of tears and death.”

Assimilation over time into American society was a much better option, (advocated by George Washington) but then the Evil Democrats couldn't have stolen all of that Indian land and resources, where they made cotton fortunes with their slaves....

Or an alternate class covering the Democrat sponsored Jim Crow Laws.
Jim Crow laws were state and local laws in Democrat controlled states that enforced racial segregation in mostly the Southern United States. Other areas in the United States were also affected by formal and informal policies of segregation, right up until today.
IMO - Welfare and Abortion are examples of immoral Jim Crow type laws....

So you’re good with your 4th grader checking this out from the school library? This is being written from a 12YO’s perspective.

On page 230, she claimed it said, “Why won’t you admit we suck each other’s d**ks? We shared a HERSHEY’s Bar, then you showed me your d**k. The next thing I know it’s in my mouth. We suck each other’s d**ks and you’re pretending it didn’t happen.”
I swear this is how @BSC911 weekends go with his friends

Libtards stabbing each other in the back, again. To think, the Groper Joe kissed Terry's ass at least once.

But remember, it's not who votes, or who they voted for that matters, it's who gets to control the election and who gets to count up the votes that matters....

VA has been corrupt and controlled by the Rats for a very long time now....

Now, having that change would be nothing short of SWEET!!!

It may not be indoctrination, but can still be inappropriate, especially based on age. Some of the books that were read at the School Board Meetinfs had graphic details of rape and acts of pedophilia. If your 18 and want to read that, go for it, but most high school kids are not 18 and it should not be available for them to check out of the library.

Terry McAwful and the Dems are really scared of losing in VA. They brought in the big guns this weekend to help. One of the big guns, VP Harriss filmed a video, telling people to vote for Terry, that was sent to and played during the homily of masses at over 200 churches. According to Joe diGenova, that is illegal. But of course its the Dems, so it will be over looked. Imagine the outrage if Pense would have done something like this?
