Only 10 starts, plus 4th Qtr @ UK, down by 11 Pts, won by 8 Pts. (29-21)

They must use some unknown criteria to determine the ranking positions....

Kellen Mond is so overrated. Maybe he will finally do something this year? He was hyped up pre-season last year as well.

W - UF/Trask 24 - 13 AU
L - aTm/Mond 20 - 28 AU

L - UF/Trask 17 - 24 @ WLOCP UGly
L - aTm/Mond 13 - 19 @ UGly

L - UF/Trask 28 - 42 @ LSU
L - aTm/Mond 7 - 50 @ LSU

So Mond is obviously a better QB than Trask is....

No way Newman is ahead of Nix.

Bo Nix, as a true frosh, had a 125 rating playing 6 top 10 teams, while Jamie Newman had a 145 rating as a junior playing one ranked team in Clemson. I would say that Nix had the better year last year, taking into account the competition, and has much more potential for improvement than Newman going into this year.

I don't see Newman in the top 5. I'd put him behind Trask, Mond, and Nix, plus Mac Jones @ Bama and Terry Wilson @ Kentucky. I put him and Costello together, both have to prove they can play with the big boys of the SEC. I'll give him the edge over new starters and the proven-to-be mediocres, such as Franks, Guarantano and Hilinski.
