If I'm honest, I'd be surprised if anything comes of it. We truly do have a two tiered justice system. Really three I guess. Average people, rich people and then the platinum level political untouchables.
If you or I did what it appears (to me at least) they did, we would go to prison. At best probation and a suspended sentence with HUGE fines...but prison is my guess.
Interference by any U.S. Official with another countries legal actions is a crime under U.S. Law.
