Reports have come out about Jay-nard Bostwick, who has not been with the team since the spring due to what McElwain has said were "personal issues," being granted a release, and I just spoke with Bostwick's father. Nothing's definite just yet, but here's the deal:
Bostwick's father is waiting to hear back from the staff on its decision on the matter either later today or possibly next Monday if he's going to be staying or transferring. Right now, Bostwick is looking at schools that have expressed interest in him. Bostwick's in Gainesville and has been working on taking care of everything he has needed to in order to get ready for fall camp, but it's "more than likely" he will be transferring, though, his father said.
