RB Jahmyr Gibbs (Georgia Tech)

WR Xzavier Henderson
EDIT - has reportedly eliminated Gators from consideration
WR Malachi Wideman
(Florida State) 6'5" 190 4* Rivals ranked in both football & b'ball
Known for freakish athleticism that allows for above the rim game on the hardwood and ideal red-zone and deep threat ability as wide receiver on gridiron. https://247sports.com/Player/Malachi-Wideman-46046942/

WR Javon Baker (Bama)
WR Ja'Khi Douglas (FSU)

Who Knows
TE Darnell Washington
TE Damarkcus Beckwith 6'5" 215

Joshua Braun & Richard Leonard on campus now; Issiah Walker EE - Don't think we need any more OL
OL Sedrick Van Pran (UGA)
OL Marcus Henderson

Don't think we need DL - remember Will Muschamp leaving us 6 OL
DE Princely Umamielen
DT Clyde Pinder (UNC)
DT Jayson Jones (Bama)
DT Willie Moise (Miami)
DL Jay Hardy (Auburn)

Who knows
S Avantae Williams

Another List of committed prospects that didn’t sign early - some duplicates; many we did not pursue; several DT; amazingly 2 UGLY OT commits on list.

Still some quality players in positions of need for Gators to go after for NSD.

Top Florida Targets for the Second National Signing Day - SI Gator Maven
https://www.si.com/college/florida/recruiting/top-florida-targets-second-national-signing-day

At his early signing day press conference, Mullen said he'll look at 5-6 targets and take the "best available" prospects, so let's take a look at who those targets might be.

Safety Avantae Williams
ATH Damarcus Beckwith
RB Jahmyr Gibbs
RB Henry Parrish

From the portal...

WR Justin Shorter, Penn State
RB Jashaun Corbin, aTm

"...The problem with both Corbin and Shorter is that they will likely not be immediately eligible, but regardless Florida should take them due to the lack of depth at running back and wide receiver. Both offer some experience and will balance out the numbers due to them not being incoming freshmen, and with the board looking the way it is there should be no hesitation in taking either one of them or both."

The 3 HARD commits and RB Parrish would fill the bill for me.

Sweet-Icing for the cake would be the Plus-1 WR Malachi Wideman....

Jahmyr Gibbs rb 4*

Justin Shorter ( WR transfer, would sit a year) 5*

Britt
Manuel
Avontae Williams

Updates on Prospects we need

OV weekend of Jan 24th - 26th COULD be huge if all these visitors show up

Safety Avantae Williams -
has scheduled an OV to Gators on Jan 24th

ATH Damarcus Beckwith -
per the Florida Zone on twitter, will take an OV to Gators January 24th - 26th

RB Jahmyr Gibbs -
Florida will welcome Gibbs to Gainesville on an official visit on January 24th-26th -
https://www.si.com/college/florida/recruiting/top-florida-targets-second-national-signing-day

OL Sedrick Van Pran -
On the main schools that are trying to get officials right now: “Mainly Alabama, Florida, Arizona State. I think those are the three biggest schools that is trying to get one right now."
On what stands out the most about Georgia right now: “The economy, Also education. They are actually right behind Florida. That stands out for Florida as well

RB Henry Parrish -
Parrish visited Florida on his own dime for the Florida-FSU game and shortly after conducted an in-home visit with Greg Knox. There is mutual interest, but Parrish was a bit unhappy with how late Florida offered (they offered on September 19th).
Parrish also just received an Ole Miss offer on the 15th of December, so they are also coming in late to recruit the 5'10, 183 pound running back. Granted they have a new staff and are grasping for straws, but they are just letting offers fly and trying to get one to stick.

From the portal...

WR Justin Shorter, Penn State - visited G'ville & UF Campus while team & Coaches in Miami preparing for Orange Bowl; would probably required a waiver

Nothing new to add on these unsigned commits; if you KNOW anything, throw it out
Marc Britt
Leonard Manuel
Jovens Javier

Not holding my breath on either of these -

TE Darnell Washington -
has supposedly signed a LOI, but info is being with held until he can announce at All-Star game

Malachi Wideman -
FSU - said he never intended to sign in the early signing period “I’m still committed to Florida State, he reportedly said.
Perhaps he didn't want to be an early enrollee because he is a two-sport athlete and wanted to finish out his final senior year of basketball.
