Like many readers/posters on Rivals, I visit many other websites to gain additional (free) info & insights.

Found a problem with https://fansided.com/ , they hijacked my home page. Easy enough to fix, but very irrating ! Have deleted their bookmark.

It's probably not specific to Fansided. Malware frequently uses ad servers as vectors for attack. If you haven't already, you may want to clear your browser cache.

Is it possible that you inadvertently installed their Chrome browser extension? Maybe a message box popped up and you clicked "Yes" without thinking about it?
