Ukalum1988 - working on getting you back

Ukalum1988 does a great job reporting spam for this board.

I accidentally hit the spam key on his post instead of the OP and it essentially erased him. I am working on getting it reversed.

Please let him know it will be fixed, but now I have no way to contact him.

Thanks,

Fresno
Is this why his "Brandon" thread is gone?

I replied to one of his messages at Wildcat Lair, and posted the skinny

Why do I feel like I’m part of the Coconut Telegraph system…..
My take. It's not's Fresno's fault, all of us can fat finger and hit a wrong button. The issue isn't even the fault of the owners of the previous board. The issue is that the developer of the software purchased were lazy assholes. (this reminds me of Quickbooks financials) Anyone who created that button should have had a backdoor to undo unintentional actions. My guess is that the archives (if they even had a running backup) will have to be copied to a separate file, then restore it independently to all of the new activity, then merge that into the current system to keep his history intact. Since we probably are still running the old software, good luck with the developer doing squat.

I have reached out to them with no success, sadly. I will still try.

And full disclosure, I hit the right button, but on the wrong post. I still feel bad about it ...

No pressure. Just tell them the GOAT thread in the Parking Lot died in the process because of their software deficiencies and will cost them about 1,000,000 clicks in search engine optimization and site exposure. 🤣
