Nuss hasn't been great but the QB is the much bigger problem right now. They know he can't make the throws so they crowd our run game and then drop 7-8 on passing downs because he can't fit it in there. And when we do scheme something open the wet noodle he has can't get it there...like the INT on the pass to Callaway.

Also, man... What happened to our special team prowess? Would it absolutely KILL us to come after a punt hard? Or try to set up a freaking return? I guess that, like our ability to win consistently, left and now lives in OH with Urb.
UF reminds me of those FSU teams with Jeff Bowden as OC. All the talent was on defense which kept them decent. Del Rio is basically Drew Weatherford with a worse arm.
Callaway is too good to bench, but he does not need to be returning punts when the field is flipped. Brain dead coaching is allowing this.

Last drive play one arkanasas had an 8 man box and we had 7 blockers and one Rb. That is coaching thinking you can run while outnumbered.
What's happening so far isn't that surprising so I'm not even all that mad. But I will be if we don't see another QB. Appleby wasn't this bad. And if you don't trust him play one of the freshmen. 2 TDs, 7 INT the last four games and it could have been way worse if defenses could catch. You can't keep your job doing that when you're supposed to be the smart game manager. Not being able to make throws can be accepted if you don't turn the ball over but if you're turning the ball over and can't make throws then what do you bring to the table?
I really feel sorry for this defense. If LDR doesn't finish this game on the bench, my respect for Mac will be in question.

Look what he has done all day. One series he runs two downs then passes on third down. Then the next series, he passes all three downs. Then the next series he runs all three downs. I am telling Nuss is inept, very soft and is what is called conservative. You can tell by the way these plays are ran. Oh well another year wasted!!!! Can't wait for Baseball and Softball to start up because I know the Basketball team isn't going to be much better...
Not an offensive point in three quarters against a team that gave up 56 points last game and 632 yards. This is proof it is the scheme, the coaching, and the planning. The offensive XO scheme is not sound and is just unintelligent.

At least the defense is keeping it from turning into a blowout, despite probably being tired as hell from being on the field all day.
