It’s a very good sign that our Rivals do not want Chip Kelly to be our next coach.
They’ll rag on him should be become the new coach, but they know they don’t want us to sign him.

UCLA is reportedly pursuing former University of Oregon and NFL head coach Chip Kelly to replace Jim Mora, who was fired Sunday afternoon.
Tracy Pierson of 247Sports reported Kelly's agent, David Dunn, was flying to Los Angeles to discuss the job with Bruins athletics director Dan Guerrero and senior associate AD Josh Rebholz.
UCLA is reportedly pursuing former University of Oregon and NFL head coach Chip Kelly to replace Jim Mora, who was fired Sunday afternoon.

Our AD needs to cut the crap and get this deal done before UCLA or A&M gets him over us.

UCLA is notorious for being frugal when it comes to football, and so, prior to the Bruins’ latest loss to rival USC on Saturday, some had speculated the school might not fire struggling coach Jim Mora after all because of the staggering $12 million buyout it would owe him.
But if there’s one universal truth to college football, it’s that if the boosters are ticked off enough, you can always find the money.
And you don’t spend $12 million to buy out a middling coach like Mora unless you’ve got eyes on a much bigger prize — that prize being Chip Kelly....

2009 - Did not win the LAC-10
2010 - LAC-10 Champ - Lost the BCS-NC to Auburn
He won the LAC-10 before they had a Conf. Championship game.

2012 - Did not win the LAC-12
And he left Oregon under NCAA Sanctions with a 'Show Cause.'
Correction, he won the LAC twice, but only won 1 LAC-12 Championship game, and he did that against a sucky conference that was so bad that his opponent was 6-8 LOSER UCLA.

I agree it’s not good that his agents on the record with UCLA but not us. It makes me think we don’t have much going with him.
But it appears we are getting Kelly's signature right now so maybe the wait is over. That must be BS.

That twitter account is a relative of someone in the search process supposedly and he says its a done deal now. A lot of people claim he would know.
